quote:Because it is June. They had right about the same number signed this time last year but pulled in 21 by the December signing day and finished with the #3 class in the country. Coach DeBoer is on track to pull in a few more 5 stars and Alabama could easily pull in the #1 class if all of these predictions stay true.
I am not concerned but more so curious - USC has 28 commits compared to our 5. Why the huge difference?

If you look at average player we are #1 in the country... 90% of teams ahead of us are loading up on the three stars... which improves there rank on 24/7.
The guys we have projected, but not officially committed would shoot us into contention for the #1 spot.
I really wouldn't be concerned... AT ALL!

We’ve always recruited well later. It’s because the big name guys wait to weigh their options

Are we going to have this thread every year now? Recruiting was already trending towards things really happening in June/July when Saban was here. Oregon only has 7 commits. Michigan, Auburn, and Tennessee only have 8 commits. All will probably be top10 at the end of the year.

I think we’re going to be good on the recruiting front. Obviously, things can change very quickly in the NIL recruiting landscape, but Wiltfong says we could very well land both Jett Washington and Jireh Edwards (two top-3 safeties). I feel pretty good about Xavier Griffin rolling with the Tide. Also heavily in the mix for top-75 DL Nolan Wilson, Tank Jones, Cederian Morgan, and Ezavier Crowell - just to list a few off the top of my head. I wouldn’t worry about the class as it currently sits; things look very bullish for CKD and staff.

No reason for concern. We're headed in a great direction!

Bama will be fine.
2 weeks ago they had 14 official visits, last week 12, and this weekend another 14.
40 in 3 weeks is not bad...

No reason to be concerned at all. We are about to have a few more announcements soon. DeBoer is cooking rn.

I was wondering when this thread would finally get bumped.

This thread did not age well. Are we ranked #1 yet?

Uh, no. Bama was off to a slow start. You can deny reality all you want but it’s true. Have things gotten better? Sure but there was never any “guarantee” that it would all pan out.

Might be #1 this time next week.

No, I didn’t and you and no one else “ran me over”.
