I will not be surprised at all, and in a way am expecting, for this defense to show out and thoroughly handle the UGA offense (particularly their rush offense). CNS will not overlook this game as many of our fans have and will have the team ready to roll.

The Bama D, from my extremely unprofessional viewpoint, typically has a much harder time defending offenses that operate primarily through run option/misdirection where they can get the linebackers to hesitate because of "trickery" if you want to call it (see AUB, MSST last year, any of those small schools that run triple option). When facing "pro-style" teams, our Def. tends to play much faster and fill running lanes much better. Our front seven is so tremendously talented that teams can very rarely line up with us and run it straight down our throats, it typically takes some sort of coaching advantage to move the ball on the ground. So unless UGA comes out running a completely different offensive scheme, I see the Defense rising to the occasion (as they have done so many times in big games) and giving up very few points. I think UGA will score 14 points on us, 20 at most.

On offense, the UGA front seven has not shown they can pressure the QB. This will not magically change this game. This will not be good for the Dawgs. They're dead. Tua will be tua much for them.

I never get nervous about an Alabama game. I have not been in a position to impact the outcome of a game in 35 years. There is no longer anything I can do but be a fan, cheer and enjoy the show.

UGA is without a doubt the best team Bama has played in 2018. #13 better have his A game for The King.

Bama 34 UGA 31......

I doubt you see any other teams in the SECCG in the next few years other than UGA and The King.

Coach Bryant.........“It’s awfully important to win with humility. It’s also important to lose. I hate to lose worse than anyone, but if you never lose you won’t know how to act. If you lose with humility, then you can come back.”

I think our Offense is a horrible matchup for their Defense. Tua is going to scorch them with the long pass.

Not that this always matters, but we have 4 common opponents with UGA: Mizz, UT, AU, and LSU. Alabama's average margin against those 4 is 31.5. UGA's is 9. Alabama's margin was bigger against all 4.

We have got Tua! That is more calming than Xanax.

UGA fans seem relatively calm....which concerns me. They’re supposed to be all chatty and talking about how it’s their turn or that they’ve been slighted somehow. I feel a lot more comfortable that way...

Friendly reminder that Tua is still averaging a TD every 7.47 attemps. No Xanax needed.

Maybe he can get it back down to 7 without the brace.

For comparison Haskins averages 7.47 TDs per COMPLETION.

I’m not worried at all. We have gotten better since last season now they Tua is the starter, and UGA has gotten worse. They are nowhere near the same after losing Chubb, the other RB, and Roquon Smith

But their offense is by far the best we've played,

Statistically, OM has a better total offense while TAMU and Mizzou are both close to UGA in output as well.

Scoring wise, UGA is better than anyone we’ve played thus far; however, the difference isn’t that great, as UGA is #13 and Mizzou is #20.

While I am not in physical position to directly impact or influence the outcome; I do know that what hat or shirt I wear will indirectly impact the outcome. I have retired my share of bad mojo hats and/or shirts (sometimes in the middle of a game). I believe this will be toughest game so far, but Tua is better this year (and Bama will not have to waste a half trying to run a mostly one deminional O. Defense (esp run D) doesnt seem to be as stellar as last year, but neither is Uga's. The Bama WR/TE group is head and shoulders above last years (esp with Tua tossing)

With Saban, "we got this"... well, depending on my wardrobe choices on Saturday

Yea, but those teams feasted on bad opponents.
