Baker is the best CB in America. The other guys are solid, especially now that Campbell has been benched (he will be very good but he's struggled adjusting), but not elite.

Also, they have not played a passing attack even remotely close to ours (you could probably make a similar argument for us vs them, but not quite to the extreme since we played Ole Miss and UGA isn't quite on our level passing wise)

Passer Rating vs P5
2. Alabama (194.08)

25. South Carolina (144.00) (119.35 vs UGA) -24.65
32. Vanderbilt (139.49) (104.57 vs UGA) -34.92
51. Kentucky (131.32) (156.15 vs UGA) +24.83
52. Tennessee (131.24) (150.54 vs UGA) +19.30
64. Missouri (126.10) (82.42 vs UGA) -43.68
65. Auburn (125.51) (115.54 vs UGA) -9.97
72. LSU (122.19) (106.00 vs UGA) -16.19

So against those 7 they are averaging giving up a passer rating of -12.2 vs that teams P5 average (though more like -20.0 probably as those P5 averages INCLUDE the Georgia game)

Tua has a passer rating vs P5 of 202.05. So, that would equate to Tua having a 182.05 QB Rating. For context, Tua's closest games to that this year......

- 200.73 vs Missouri
- 199.68 @ Tennessee
- 138.46 vs Mississippi State
- 129.47 @ LSU

Isn't your D-Line not as good as last years? I see Hand, Payne etc all playing downs on Sundays.

Full on admit losing Roquan is a factor. I think our rushing offense outproduced last years...

It's not quite as stout against the run (though still very very good), but it's a better pass rush unit. Maybe the best pass rush front 4 we've ever had.

Quinnen Williams becoming a Top 5 pick basically elevated it an elite level.

Q has virtually covered for Payne and then some. Hand was drastically underutilized and really probably didn't even log starter type snap numbers.

That said, no, our front 4 is not as good as last year, especially without Terrell Lewis. But Jennings, Q, Davis, and Miller are a lot to deal with. If Lewis is able to play this week and be 80-90% that would be something.

They are very much improved, largely due to their QB playing much better. One thing that people have figured out about Tua is that he will always try to escape up the middle when pressured. Hurts always runs right. Teams are pinching in on Tua and trying to bring pressure up the middle. One thing it looks like he is missing is just the simple dump off passes to the backs. It looked like they had 15 yards of open space a two or three times but Tua doesnt consider them unless its a called play. Plus we lost all the plays that involve Tua running, so that hurts.

he was hitting those early in the year and even Danielson commented on how good he was checking down. The last couple of games he has been trying to win the Heisman with downfield passes, on a gimpy leg, no less, that hampers his technique, not to mention his run game and the confidence that he can escape the pressure.
