There isn't anything tangible that makes me feel that way, I think it more so has to do with how close we are getting to the end of a truly historical season and the fact that Georgia is clearly the most complete team we will have played (and possibly will play outside of maybe Clemson). I think we are solidly (not drastically, but solidly) better than Georgia on both sides of the ball (not special teams, obviously, which probably always adds to my nerves). However, they are capable of playing their best game and getting us if we put it on the table to be taken.

Like, internally I know that's how these games are supposed to be : close, nerve-wracking, etc, but we just pound on people so much it is hard to get your mindset back into that mode when you are used to not being there. And added to that is the fact that the last 3 SECCG were basically mismatches in which the other team had little to no shot to beat us.

Ok, feels good to get that out. Thanks for the free therapy session.

OMG. All you fans just complain and nothing is ever good enough. We’re in the middle of the greatest dynasty ever. Just sit back and let Daddy Saban do his thing and stop worrying!

Not really that worried about the game.

I think Bama is a much better team then last year and Georgia isn't quite as good as they were last year.

With Georgia's lack of pass rush and weak secondary, Tua will feast. Bama has to take away Georgia's run game and force Fromm/Fields to beat Bama.

Definitley agree

I don't think I'd call it "weak". Baker is the best CB in America, and the other guys are probably average to above average. They aren't LSU, but they're better than basically everyone else sans maybe MSU that we played this year.

Thank God we're playing someone who could beat us. Muhammad Ali didn't become heavyweight champion of the world and one of the all-time most famous human beings who ever lived by beating Humper Twinkledink, or whoever the balls. No. He fought giants in their prime, Gorge Foreman, Joe Frazier, and the like.

Those fights were what he lived for. And these games are the reason one becomes a Bama fan. Go Big, or go Home.

I like you, George. But your post stinks of weakness. Be glad - no pumped - that Bama is bad-arse, and look forward to being able to prove just that against a worthy foe.

My mindset has been exactly here all-season. That's why it was a little boring. But now the season is properly hot and lubed, and now is the time to bottom ole' girl out. Right to the uterus.

Dude I agree. I always preach that we shouldn't all freak out because there is a POSSIBILITY we might lose. That's what happens when you play good teams. I'm just having to internally fight that instinct right now

I think our fans underestimate how good Georgia has been since their loss to LSU and some of the problems they can present. Not saying Alabama can't win even if UGA brings their A game, but I'm not expecting a double digit win honestly.

Yea, I kind of agree.

The good news is the one area I think you have to be elite in to really have a good chance to suffocate us, pass rush from the Front 4, is an area they aren't elite or even really above average in. But their offense is by far the best we've played, and they will run the football. Combine that with out kicking misery and their kicking mastery, and there are combinations that can make things scary.

But like prevatt said, this is why we watch football. To see us play really good teams. I just might have to puke a few times between now and gametime.

I agree. I've watched UGA closely the last few weeks and they have been on fire on both offense and defense. (especially offense) I know the competition hasn't been fierce but the effieicency they've had will likely translate in some fashion against us. Also their offensive line is very, very good. This may be our toughest game this year as I really don't know about clemson defensively.

I would have said Clemson is the clear toughest, but after getting totally torched through the air AGAIN last weekend, I'm pretty sure they have no shot to cover our receivers/backs/Irv. Doesn't mean that would be easy, but I think their back 7 nullify how good their front 4 can be.

we were pretty neck and neck last year, we are a tick worse than last season and bama is several ticks better than last year. Do the math

Georgia is a much improved team since they played lsu. Their quarterback has played a lot better, and he has some talent around him. They curb stomped the barn, and their receivers wont drop every ball throw to them like Auburn's did. We hold the trump card though. Tua

Agree, if the game was played 10 times we'd probably win 7. But, that doesn't really matter if Saturday is one of the 3.

Should be a good game. I expect to be nervous a lot.

are you tailgating somewhere? I'll be at your home (B/O marta station..) saturday morning heading down. Gonna catch up with an old bama buddy that lives out of state somehwere around CNN in the morning then head to the yellow lot to meet with our normal crew.

Nice - I'll be hopping on the train there as well.

No, no tailgate plans, gotta hand off kids to a sitter at the house and all that boring old person stuff. Gonna try to make sure and get down there in time to avoid any entrance snags like the Title Game last year, but outside of that MARTA in and straight into the game.

They might be improved, but the competition hasn't been great that they are playing.

Florida has to be the worst 9-3 team I have ever seen

Kentucky see above

Auburn average at best

UMass enough said

Georgia Tech a average Acc team
