apples and oranges. UGA was actually good. A&M is trash... we looked like garbage on both sides of the ball. BoB is an idiot at calling plays and Golding is.... well, we know he's terrible.

I think it's the worst team we've lost to since 2007 ULM.

People forget that 2010 South Carolina actually was in the SEC Championship game.

Not at all saying you guys are. But I do not believe how people are thinking this loss is somehow “what they need” and will somehow fire up the team to win out.

That doesn’t happen usually.

I’m just trying to figure out how we went from being a team that makes good QBs look awful to team that makes pedestrian QBs look like Tom Brady in just a few short years.

Honestly, I think a lot of us realize that this loss isn't going to ba an anomaly.
Our defense showed up for one game this year against Ole Miss.
We have glaring mistake proned players on both sides of the ball.
Further, which may be the worst is the play calling on both sides of the ball.
This isn't a "sky is falling", but simply a realistic and clear approach to the reality of the 2021 Bama football team.

I blame many individuals, not just him. But yes, he is one. Regardless of the play called, he's the one who threw the pick at the goalline. The ball was in his hands...he threw it. He threw the ball at receivers' feet on short throws and overthrew them on long throws.

He’s not Mac obviously

Right now, no, he's not Mac. Nor is he Tua. Or Jalen. Or Jake. Or Blake. Or AJ. Or Greg. Or JPW.

You think because they lost to Auburn, that means they weren't significantly better than this aTm team? You obviously don't do football very well.

That team had a better QB, Marcus Lattimore, and Alshon Jeffrey.

Again if you can place that much blame on Bryce we will agree to disagree. More power to you.

No I mean they were a 4 loss team that had no business beating undefeated Alabama.

2014 Ohio State lost to fricking 7-6 Penn State.

2006 UF lost to a shitty Ole Miss team.

2007 LSU lost to a shitty Kentucky team.

I like how you all gloss over this stuff.

Maybe you don't know shite about football.

I played in high school and college and was on a staff as a recruiter for a while in FCS.

I'm saying you people are freaking out because you fricking are.

You're spoiled arse frontrunners who weren't around for Ray Perkins or Bill fricking Curry. Where we lost to shitty teams every year, more than once, except 1989, where we got crushed in our two biggest games and needed a blocked FG to beat Penn State and a 55 yarder to beat an above average Tennessee.

Or 1992 where we nearly lost to unranked Miss State and needed a blocked punt by Langham to avoid the upset.

Cry about this loss but it's just a fricking game. Get over it.

We lost, the sun will still come up tomorrow and Bama will still kick arse.

2009 We beat Tennessee by the sheer luck of blocking two field goals

2015 we beat Tennessee 19-14 on a Henry TD with 2:24 left, after already losing to Ole Miss

Y'all need to stop melting

bullshite. You're an anonymous clown on a message board.

Dumbasses who have to throw out some bogus resumé to convince other posters of their football IQ always have the lowest.

Said it in the other thread, this is the most pathetic loss that I can remember. Their QB is not what you could even consider as "mediocre" or "inconsistent". The guy has been plain terrible and he lit Golding's sorry arse defense up.

I'm not worried about the offense just yet. Even with the mistakes, they still put up 31. Bryce is still a young QB and this is still a new'ish offense. Everything is fixable. Willing to hold off on them.

The defense, however, is unfixable in its current state. We've now got 3 seasons to show this.

I think, after Tua and Mac, it's lost on some that the offense shouldn't have to score 40+ points to win a game. 21 points was once considered a defensive failure. Young shouldn't feel the pressure to score a touchdown every drive but with this defense he basically has to

The players deserve what they earn. Quit acting like Golding is 100% responsible for our poor play.
It's time to face facts. The talent on D is eminently average. Outside of Anderson - and he's not all everyone has built him up to be - this squad has no one an opposing OC even needs to consider when scheming. The entire DL is a group of JAGs. The secondary is substandard. It's a damning indicator when HTT walks in and immediately starts at ILB.

It is a bad look but Texas A&M's average recruiting class rank over the last four years has been 8.75. They have solid talent all over the field so it's not like we were beaten by scrubs. This is just the first game of the season where Texas A&M played like they were supposed to.

Well we lost by 3 and Bryce threw an interception while we were in goalline (lost 3 to 7), fumbled giving them great field position (they scored 7) and missed on multiple deep balls which would have went for TDs (lost 7 to 14).

The guy was terrible.

Even on our drives he was throwing bad throws which Jameson was making superstar catches.

The other players weren't or couldn't.

It's not all on Bryce, but even with Golding and BOB blowing multiple galling situations because he wants to throw... we STILL should have beat that mediocre team if our QB wasn't so poor.

We have the most talent in the nation. We have recruited the best classes.

If the kids are playing average then THE AREN'T BEING COACHED WELL.

Amazes me when geniuses think we need all-pros in every position, when we get beat by teams with less who just have coaches who are better.

I can’t believe the coaches… this is on Saban. The play calling was the worst I have ever seen. I knew what was coming as a highschool coach…
Defense is so damn lost they run into each other. It’s like the year Florida had guys blocking each other. This is a veteran defense and they are horrible. Our oline can’t block, receivers can’t catch and when we do get the run going we abandon it because we have 1 running back. Never ran the jumbo once down on the goal line. Saban better get this crap together and drop this smiling nice guy… he has more talent than ever and won’t play our young guys hardly. I would transferred out yesterday.. no excuses. Owens is horrible.. let s young guy learn and play. Play young WR’s.. and play koolaide. This is the worst coaching I have seen from him ever. You damn right my running back isn’t coming to Bama. Why would he? You have to rotate guys and let them play. Especially if there is talent.. let them learn. Where is Sanders? We barley used anyone else but BRob. My guy noticed it tonight and I couldn’t defend it
