Kiffin must have out smarted himself.
Was at the game, said multiple times that if Kiffin had been smarter about those 4th down calls as well as sticking to the run game, hey may have won that one. I think a lot of things were masked for this Alabama team through five games.

Bryce is the reason we got back into the game. Other than his deep ball Bryce has been good as advertised. Our OC and TEs and OL didn't help Bryce.

He is good! Our problem as a whole is our defense period and RT! We got guys in the wrong position on defense! Jobe isn't a strong corner period probably should be at saftey because he is to stiff

Bull fricking shite.

Yes..the wide receivers are dropping easy catches but not one fricking coach or player is worried about Bryce hitting a long ball.

Are you watching the same games as I am?

Can you tell me one long pass he has connected with?

Bryce is good but he’s not so good that he can carry the offense beyond its limits. He needs help. Especially at WR.

That said, he needs to connect on the deep ball more.

Well, if you take away the deep ball out of the offense, you're not going to have the success we've had for years.

He had one against Miami and one against Southern Miss. Both to JW.

Bryce is like 37th on my "worry" list right now. The only immediate item on his list is the deep ball.

This is dumb

He certainly needs to improve his deep ball quite a bit

But this is dumb

He sure as hell isn't worth $1,000,000 in endorsements and his own fricking podcast.

We're in damn trouble at RB as well. BRob is pretty much it.

Honestly, to me, this team has felt like a rebuilding year from the start. Some of it is young players and lesser talent in some spots. And some of it it shitty coaching from the coordinators.

Because this is the first genuinely mediocre team we have had since 2007. B+ offense with an D- defense.

This is what is so inexplicable — what about all the #1 classes? Malzahn would have a defense so far above this.

It cannot be overlooked how losing to an unranked team is so out of the ordinary for this dynasty

Whatever happens the rest of the season, the offseason will be very telling for where this dynasty is going. Does Saban address the obvious mistakes including the one that has been persistent for 3 years?

Yeah, these guys getting paid has certainly taken the “they’re just kids”
Defense away. If you’re getting paid $1 million, then connect on the fricking deep ball.

This loss reminds me more of the 2010 SC loss.
Mainly because of what's to come.
I don't think this is a galvanizing loss, where we run roughshod over everyone from here out, but it just exposed us to how mediocre the team really is.
I unfortunately see more losses ahead.
The very least many more struggles.

He’s getting paid a million.

Are you saying the deep ball is a threat? Yes or no.

The defense gotta improve. That coverage was absolute dog water.
