It actually feels like 2018 loss to Auburn if I'm not mistaken on the year! We will be okay if he (Saban) make some changes defensively! The team didn't quit and they battled but just came up short but they will bounce back! BOB should shoulder the blame on this one as well is Golding

I look at the schedule now and I’m worried. Mississippi State is capable of scoring a lot. Tennessee is suddenly putting up points. They could be dangerous. I look at Arkansas and I see A&M with a more dangerous quarterback. And Auburn is always Auburn and with Nix…and at Jordan Hare. We’re going to have buckle down and go to work.

Bryce is the reason we got back into the game. Other than his deep ball Bryce has been good as advertised.

He also threw at least 4 balls at the feet of receivers.

I’m not saying he’s bad or that he’s the sole or even primary reason we lost, but he needs improvement. “As good as advertised,” is open for debate, really.

Overreact much?

Good Lord, we're going to kick arse the rest of the year.

Bryce balled out in the second half and our D gave up 1 real drive and one penalty helping the other team drive in the second half.

Our team thought we were unbeatable like our shitty fans. Guess what? No one is unbeatable ever. 2019 LSU needed a 20 point halftime lead to hold off Bama and damn near lost to Nix as a freshman.

With a better D Ole Miss wins last year against us.

Overreact? You think the things I said were overreactions?

They sure did. They gave up 2 drives like a knife through butter when all the chips were on the table.

We dropped passes, we had terrible penalties, we gave up wide open throws, we had miserable decision making from coaches. Tonight was a shite show. If you can't admit that then I dunno what else to say.

I think you were dead-on accurate.

Some fans look at tonight and immediately think the worst. Others think that we're Bama and we have Saban so that pretty much guarantees that the ship will be righted and we'll win out.

Most rational fans look at tonight and see it for exactly what it was, without sugar coating it. We lost to a team that is mediocre at best, with better teams possibly still left on our schedule.

If Golding is still employed by the University of Alabama on Monday afternoon I might not even watch next weekend. The players deserve better, the fans deserve better.

Was at the game, said multiple times that if Kiffin had been smarter about those 4th down calls as well as sticking to the run game, hey may have won that one. I think a lot of things were masked for this Alabama team through five games.

All of the things that have been an issue at one point or another this year all showed up in one game. Bryce missing the deep passes, terrible defensive play, penalties at key times, dropped passes, questionable offensive calling… etc.

Everything that was overlooked, because we escaped, reared it’s head. This team has a lot of work to do.

Correct. Goals are still all in front of us and we have time to improve. But tonight was bad, and it was bad in a way not seen against similar opponents much during the last 12 years. We could take off from here, that'd be awesome. But it's not some sort of birthright from God that we do.

Man, I'm as tired of watching our defense get abused by the same shite over and over as the next guy, but there is absolutely zero chance he's getting canned halfway through the season and we all know that and we're all still going to watch.

I called some Georgia fans dumbasses for trying to say after opening night that Clemson was still a top-five team just because they had been top five for several years. But some of our fans have the same mentality.

1st half there were 3 issues.

#1 - players were not mentally ready on D. Focus and concentration sucked. When 13 was stupid and got tossed, is put the D in a bind that Fisher went to the well on over and over. Weakness up the middle in the passing game. Focus and concentration - players out of position over and over.

#2 RT tackle played horribly... again. LG had some issues but for the most part those were schemed by Elko. Elko loaded 4 guys against LT/LG. He place 2 guys on RG/RT and 1 LB over the center. When our RB was right of the QB the middle LB shaded toward the left side of the center - 5 against 3. when the RB was left of the QB the middle LB shaded right of the center. The dared us to run right but their DE whipped our RT all night. When we had to pass, they blitzed from the 5 on 3 strength. We kept blocking down with the LT leaving 2 LB's vs 1 RB. No way to win that. At half time we adjusted our blocking call and largely fixed the blitz issue.

#3 Missed open WR's (14 points left on the field). Dropped passes (14 points and 3 1st down conversions left on the field). A bad fumble (that was on the QB) led to a short field score. Those are ALL concentration and focus issues that resulted in a 35 point swing.

Those 3 problems are not on the coaches (at least at the game) and Saban warned about it earlier in the week (trap game comment).

2nd half, we played well until the end when Fisher was attacking our week middle again and when our offense needed one last drive to kick a FG for the win. Again, that was not on the coaches. Well except for having the RT in the game instead of having tried another option.

People watch that crap fest and of all things blame Bryce? He is one of the few adequate things we have going. He’s not Mac obviously but so many areas on this team just stink.

Why not? He took the play calling away from Lupoi before the season was over and handed it to this dickhead. Time to correct that mistake and move on. It happens. Coaches get fired. Hell, we’ve got a shite ton of analysts in Tuscaloosa. Is one of them a former DC like Strong?

Yes it's major prisoner of the moment fallacies going on with Bama fans. Spoiled Bama fans.

There were many mistakes but no one will go undefeated this year. UGA will lose, maybe to Kentucky next week but almost definitely to Florida. Mullen has Kirby's number.

In 2006 UF lost to a ahitty Ole Miss team by a FG and kicked the shite out of everyone after that.

In 2007 LSU lost to a not great Kentucky team.

In 2014, Ohio State lost to a 7-6 Penn State team 31-24 in OT.

Bama will win out.

We needed to be humbled, this team has been eating too much rat poison.
