Only team in the league with a winning streak against Bama.

I’ve been eager for that to change since 2010.

Where you 7 at the time? I mean who doesn't remember the drunken Garcia throwing dimes all over our DB's that day. Dude couldn't hit green grass before or after in any other game he played. That was one of the most preposterous games I've seen in recent memory.

No I was saying it's incredible that Bama hasn't lost to an SEC East team since then. I remember well him looking like a Heisman candidate that day. It just dawn on me that we have dominated the east that much since then. Getting old and senile.

He said he didn’t realize that was the last time we were defeated by a team from the East, not that he doesn’t remember the game.

Would have faced them again around 2015/16 or so if the conference hadn't expanded and gotten weird.

Spurrier said that was the greatest performance of any QB he has ever had.

I wanna say that sometimes the other team just rolls a 20, but I don't want to take away from Spurrier being a historically great offesnive coach.

I got ahead of myself.

Anytime I see USCe mentioned in beating that Alabama team my brain goes black.

Amazingly he barely broke 200 yards. Felt like double that

They turned around and lost to Kentucky the following week

23-0 run against the East since that game.

With the 4th quarter clock ticking down and the loss inevitable, bringing an end to a 19-game win streak, I lamented to my relatively new bride “I have nothing left to live for”...

She left me at the bar that evening. Not for good. Just so that I had to figure out my own way home in a drunken stupor.

I usually find a way to have a good time after losses.

Except for the GotC in 2011. I was pretty despondent after that one. Luckily that loss was avenged.

That was Spurrier’s MO at South Carolina. His best team lost to a 5 win Butch led UT squad.

What was really sad is we finished the season 5-3 in conference play and 4th in the west. USCe finished 1st in the East with the same 5-3. But the win for them was like winning the super bowl.

didnt we have a pure freshman starting at corner back that day. Seems like I remember him having a bad day, but a couple of years later was very good.
