Now see, the high road is a place some of us like to operate and live our days. We don’t give a second thought about those that live in the mire and snarl of the load row. You might be doing financially better than me (don’t really care), but that’s not what really separates the two paths. But I do know that my mind and life is more fulfilling up here than it would be down where you are deciding to live.

I'm not a Pirates or Skenes fanboy. But this is one of the things I hate about MLB. The Pirates have a talent they can build around but just refuse to, like many other teams that sell a great player. In hopes of what? Do they really think between the 3 draft picks and 5 prospects they'll get 8 Skenes level guys that they can win with. Its more likely one of those 8 guys will be good and then they'll just sell him too when it comes contract time....rinse repeat.

According to an arrest report, Nicolette Keough urinated on furniture in two Airbnb homes in Downtown Pensacola. Records say she caused thousands of dollars of property damage.
The arrest report says Keough ruined $3,000 worth of appliances and furniture. This includes an antique chair, typewriter, coffee maker, toaster and television.
"There was a young lady inside making money in a very unusual way that damaged somebody else's property," Pensacola officer Mike Wood said.
Keough allegedly uploaded videos of herself urinating on the items to an adult content website. According to the arrest report, the Airbnb owner must now replace all of the items.

My SO has an employee (medical field related) that was mistakenly given a promotion by HR, it went like a month without anyone noticing, no bump in pay so payroll didn't see it. Wife had a meeting with HR and payroll and went ahead and legitimized the promotion, although it was probably a year early. Now the employee is pissed and wanting that month of back-pay for the promotion she didn't really get instead of being thankful she got the real promotion a year early.

Maybe. But Julio and DH will be in the Hall of Fame. Don'ta really only has the Super Bowls over those two and we all know those are more about the team. Ironically Don'ta directly kept Julio from getting a ring.

Older son - college senior - business. I told him to learn how to run a business and team up with an electrician/ac/plumbing guy that knows the actual labor side.
Younger son - college fresh. He's planning on physical therapy.
Not sure how those will play out but I think its better than accounting or financial advisor over the next 10 years.

Show me 1 engineering professor teaching what he knows and I'll show you 20 engineers in the real world actually building, working hard hours, and expanding their knowledge base. Guess which of the 21 examples is the liberal.
I was worried that they might have gotten soft and PC with their jokes. But there was plenty of taking shots at gays (and stereotyping them), dick/erection/sexual harassment (thanks Todd), and then I lol'd when the 2 nurses made fun of Turks ashy elbows. :bow:
