It seems like if you did skill tools like you youd do for baseball(aka 5 tool player) one for football would be ability to stay uninjured

Kind of hope the players who left nfl squads sue Sankey and LSU if they don’t receive whatever NiL money they were promised for leaving NFL teams.
LSU lured these guys away with their idiocy. They should have to pay them.

Because I don’t like Sankey
But realistically, the case that could/would be made would be that an injunction was made allowing these players to play and only after they left their NFL opportunity did Sankey/SEC decide to institute this ban.
Someone is going to file a suit saying it’s collusion and whatever else.
Ultimately I don’t want these players to be able to play. But I do want LSU to have to pay them because that’d be hilarious

bullshite these guys were getting cut and not making the roster. They knew lsu would pay them more than either making a practice squad or selling insurance. If they came back to college they were not making the 53 man roster.

Oh please, he would be a contributor but was not a starter. Alabama is very deep on the DL. The depth has been weakened but if there are no more losses this will hardly be missed.
DL and safety, along with TE and ILB (little experience here but lots of talent) are all very deep. Neither Beaman, nor Edwards were starters, though they were legitimate depth pieces.
Hate it more for Beaman than for the team, he missed all of last season with injury also. He’s got 2 more years.
Rogers was a loss because he was a starter (probably #2 behind RCW, #3 at least) and a likely star. And the WR room is not as deep.
Crowell is also a possible loss because he is such a great talent.
Thankfully, both “appear” to be on their was back before the meat of the schedule. You would think Edwards would be back in time to maximize his development, probably before the tough stretch, even though he is not needed.
Some sound like a bunch of women.

You can never have too many DL tbh. However, Beaman was definitely rotational not front line.
