How soon fans are to forget.

We got housed by Texas at home.
We struggled a ton vs. USF.

We got up to play and beat Georgia when needed.

Outside of a miracle, we basically lost to Auburn.

We struggled vs. Arkansas. We struggled vs. Tennessee. We struggled vs. Texas A&M.

We had a lot of close games last year. Should've been beat by a bad Auburn team.

We had 4 SEC games decided by 1 score.

The defense bailed us out time and time again last year. The offense looked absolutely terrible most of the time.

Milroe ball wasn't fun last year, and it isn't fun this year either.

The difference is we don't have the single greatest defensive mind in football history walking the sidelines fielding one of the toughest defenses in the nation. We have an offensive guy a la Sarkisian, but he doesn't have an elite QB to work with.

This transition is going to take time. I promise everyone will love DeBoer once he gets an elite passing QB to run his offense.

I don't hate this team. My STFU was in regards to making multiple long arse posts which are in reality just thinly disguised Milroe sucks posts buried in a lot of word salad. They're unnecessary.

Or looking completely inept, especially defensively, at a school who's mascot is a chicken

We have had 5 one score games each of the last three seasons which included a loss to an unranked A&M team on the road, a 2 point road win over a 6-7 Florida team, a 6 point home win over a 6-7 LSU team, a 2 point 4OT win over a 6-7 Auburn team in 2021.

We were up 28-0 in the second quarter against Arkansas in 2022 and went into the 4th quarter up 28-23 and luckily Gibbs has the quarter of his life with 2 70+ yard TD runs to pull away. Lost at Tennessee and LSU. Were lucky to escape Austin and Oxford with wins, and had to stop A&M on the goal line as the clock expired to avoid a second straight loss to them unranked.

Lost by two scores to Texas at home last year. Then the USF game. Had to hold off 4-9 Arkansas to win by 3. Still only beat unranked A&M by one score again. Pulled away from both Tennessee and LSU late, and of course 4th & 31 to win in Auburn.

We haven't dominated most of our games like we use to in several years now. I don't know why so many of you are acting like it's new and that you didn't think the game was starting to pass Saban by

This defense has given up the most yards per game by an Alabama team since 1999

That is absolutely not last year

You also have a completely new defense installed and we're playing how many freshmen this year?

People don't stop to think about that. DeBoer gets to pick the defense his team runs, not the fans, and he's basically playing with people who weren't recruited to fit his defense.

Of course some people out there will probably say, "Just switch to Saban's defense ... "

Milroe has had 1 bad game after being vastly improved and having a great season, and you troglodyte trash are right back ready to pounce.

Because a lot of fans weren’t ready or couldn’t blame Saban. Now it’s a new guy inheriting the team with a lot of the same guys and all of a sudden everything is DeBoer’s fault.

If the scheme isn't working for the talent, adjust the scheme until you get the talent.

The Goat was sliding. Period. Probably some of the things that were affecting us post 2020 are still affecting us now.

I would ask folks to take a look around--who's dominating? Texas maybe? WHO ELSE? Everyone in the SEC looks vulnerable.

Let's say we do feel like DeBoer is not the answer---WHO IS?

It's a new NIL world. We no longer have a 2nd string with as many stars as the first.
