Are you fricking stupid? The ball was placed well on both of the drops
Milroe has had 1 bad game after being vastly improved and having a great season, and you troglodyte trash are right back ready to pounce.
I’ve been wondering with Metchie out, and the biggest strength (I think, with little research to this point) of Cincinnati’s defense being 2 elite CBs, how will our running game fare vs them? It’s concerning that is where their big match-up advantage is. We’ll need Billingsley and Latu to really show up probably.

It’s gonna be a really interesting match-up between Jameson and Ahmad Gardner, but I do wonder who Bryant will match up with: Bolden? Brooks? That’s gonna be rough possibly.

I do feel like our Defense matches up very well with their Offense though, especially with your other thread showing their offense heavily relies on staying ahead of the chains. We should be able to disrupt that quite substantially, and really cripple their production.
Good lord, Georgia’s net PPD would rank in the teens it appears for Offensive PPD

I really enjoy this type of stuff, thanks for posting!

Those outside runs need some work

How was Chernobyl not terrible?

That’s a popular quote from the Chernobyl mini-series on HBO. A guy in a position of authority thought the situation was waaaaay less bad than it actually was, and regarded the initial faulty reading as not great, not terrible. But in reality obviously it was extremely bad.
Thanks for making all these threads, good to still have football talk. Despite the horde of downvotes you receive with every one of these threads due to the people here who fricking hate actual football discussion.
God this is easily the worst rule in football. Should just be ruled down at the one in this case for Browns.
I pulled for LSU. Burrow’s story was a good one, and I like Orgeron well enough.
I’m no X’s and O’s expert, but would like to get better. With our personnel, is there any obvious mismatch we could look to exploit vs their base defense? I’ve also seen it said that they only run one safety, and 3 corners. Maybe if we can get past their D-line they should be slightly more vulnerable to the run?

Question about Ohio State’s defense

Posted by BTide on 1/9/21 at 11:20 pm
It seems to most that Ohio State’s front 7 is elite, and if there is a weakness on this defense, it is the secondary.

What about when Ohio State goes into Nickel? Who is their NB, and is he a drop-off from whomever he replaces from the base package?

Will OSU even be expected to run a lot of Nickel against Alabama’s base package (whether Waddle or not, if in a 3 WR set)?
I have a question, decided to post here instead of making a new thread: so the talk about OSU’s defense is that their front 7 is elite and the secondary is their concern. What about their nickel package? Will their NB be a big drop from whomever they drop in terms of talent/ productivity/ reliability on the field?

I assume teams run primarily nickel against our base offense, correct me if I’m mistaken
OSU’s line play on both sides gonna give me nightmares
That was a good video, not sure why you’re getting downvoted for it. Strange. Does make me feel a tiny bit better that it looked like Clemson’s safeties were just lost on a lot of those big plays. Gotta hope our guys can do better
Not every Alabama fan is like those guys for what it’s worth. It can be difficult sometimes to have meaningful discussion here due to so many on edge thinking everything is trolling.

I do think it would be silly if Lawrence won simply due to a lifetime achievement award. He did well against ND, but overall he really hasn’t been elite this season statistically. He is still super talented, and I’ll be terrified if we play Clemson, but I don’t think to this point this season he has played at a Heisman level.

I assume havoc rate on offense is preventing TFL, sacks, fumbles, and interceptions?

Surprised to see our explosiveness on offense is “only” 16. Although since Waddle’s injury we really haven’t gone over the top nearly as much. I suppose too maybe a lot of teams are playing back to avoid giving up big plays, allowing us to move the chains easily with our #1 success rate?

So many great parts in this one lol

My friend and I were talking earlier about how surprised we were to see LSU bounce back from what was going on a few weeks ago. It is scary that the dudes left all seem to be inspired to play LSU football. And they’re young. Gonna be a force again really soon.
