Would definitely be a great hire imo. Great coach, and has recruited well in the SEC. And the fact that he played here is a plus in my book.

Save the 850k. Hire Pruitt on the cheap and put him with ILBs and Golding to DBs.

Not happening, and obviously tongue in cheek, but the melt would be hilarious. Let's the GOAT flex his muscle again against the Admins. You know he's still pissed they blocked his Freeze hire. If it all falls through into the year, steal back Vinnie Sunseri to throw him at ILBs and reunite the family. What could go wrong. Its a rebuild year.

Does anyone have any idea who it might be? Seems weird that there aren’t any rumors other than the hot board of coaches. Is it an internal hire? Any solid rumors out there?

Saban has like 4-5 DB analyst on staff every year, but I'd be surprised if it's an internal hire.
