NY Jets are allegedly going to make Harbaugh a substantial offer. If true, will Dax Hill be back in play for Bama? I know he signed his letter of intent but kids are getting out of those things.

Once he signs, I believe he would have to transfer unless he could get out like our LB did from Washington.

Ok. I hear you. If Harbaugh jumps I think he'd he could get out of his letter of intent especially in this climate.

Could be completely wrong, but I think I read somewhere that you have to complete two years before a walk-on can go on scholarship (NCAA rule).

I think the rule only requires being a walk-on for two years in order to not count toward initial counter limits when they go on scholarship.

We've speculated that a way to to take another player in this recruiting cycle is if Tyson's family pays his way for Jan-Dec, 2019 (classifying him as a walk-on) and then he could go on a scholly in Jan, 2020 and be counted toward the 2020-21 academic year signing and initial counter limits.

Anything is possible now, so I have no idea. Feels like there aren't any rules anymore

Instead of signing an NLI, Hill might've signed an aid agreement that contained an escape clause for Hill if Harbaugh leaves before fall enrollment. Or they may have signed an agreement that Michigan would honor a potential request for release from his NLI, if Harbaugh leaves. Maybe his flip to Bama gave him the leverage to get Michigan to agree to such terms in order to get him to flip back to them. We'll see.

He's instinctive and reads the offense plays well. This helps make up for any lack of speed, because he already a step ahead.

Kid reads offense play development better than Mack Wilson.

Nah. He didn’t wish injury on him or anything. Just a miserable existence.

He chose to live in Michigan so odds are Saint’s hopes will come to fruition

Jets probably will try to hire an experienced, offensively-minded HC. They have a "franchise caliber" QB, and they don't want him to end up like another Mark Sanchez.

Not a big Harbaugh fan, but he checks the boxes. Jets have a TON of money to work with in 2019, they are gonna makessome big moves regardless the coach.

In my humble opinion, the Jets could do a lot worse than Harbaugh, there are gonna be a few hot (always overrated) OC names some teams are going to be pawing at. Jets would be smart to lock him up if he's open to the opportunity.

It sucks for the kids like Hill if Harbaugh leaves, but I think the kid in Washington had some extenuating circumstances and Petersen let him out of his LOI

i'm not so sure letting a kid that threw for over 15k yards in hs, is a good thing. hatcher may actually challenge for the starters position when tua leaves.

I could be wrong but if he did not sign an NLI he is not bound to UM until he sets foot in a class room. A lot of players sign financial papers(including scholarships) to get enrolled but they are not binding. Ask UT fans about that when Kiffin left and called commits to not go to class in Knoxville and try to pull them with him out west.

UM is already showing him on their website which means Hill signed a NLI or they could not show him.

But it also shows getting a hardship by the NCAA pretty easy nowadays as well. So anything is possible.
