I think one or both might take the step. Bond is close.

The lack of 1st round WR is not a killer. But to compensate, you must have a dominate run game, and a QB that doesn't turn it over. We've got the backs for that. OLine has the potential, but it has to come to fruition. QB... tbd.

Bond and Law were true freshmen last year. I think the wr’s will be very good this year.

No offense but please don’t post this anymore. If you were a QB “expert” you wouldn’t be posting on a message board. Breaking down YouTube highlights doesn't mean you know anything. most the people on this board are foolish

Exactly.

It's like we can't give these kids time to improve or something.

So many trolls are calling players busts after one year. I’ve seen nothing to indicate that the now sophomore receivers are regressing. If anything they are getting better.

People freaking out should consider these stats...

2023 stats

Isaiah Bond 17 Rec, 220 yards, 1 TD
Kobe Prentice 31 recs, 337 yards, 2 TDs

Now look back to these FRESHMAN stats

Devonta Smith 7 Rec, 156 yards, 3 TDs
Henry Ruggs III, 12 Rec, 229 yards, 6 TDs
Jerry Jeudy 14 Rec, 264 yards, 2 TDs

Let's not get histrionic just yet.

Bond & Prentice are going to be really good. It's only a matter of time.

DD4Bama was a total douchebag. Bama fan or not. He was horrible to deal with. What a miserable person.

People to need to chill. It took LSUs best team since the title, and Tennessees best team in 15 years to beat us.

There is no NFL 1st Round Pick WR1 on campus. Benson is the most talented but raw.
This seems concerning

I know he’s made some big plays but man, Brooks is so underwhelming to me. Part of that is probably my fault with expectations that weren’t fair but he just doesn’t seem to do anything exceptionally.

Figured Bond or Law would pop and be REALLY good. Not too late but I’m not overly confident in them. Just feels like a solid but underwhelming group by elite CFB standards.

I really think we need to give them all a chance in a new system.

There wasnt a single game last season that I felt like our scheme was stressing or surprising the opposing defense.

Compare that to what Sark did to Ohio State in the NC or what Kiffin managed with Blake Sims?

Bond and Law are far too fast to have looked so slow at times last year. They didn't forget how to run or separate so I think we need to let this play out a bit before saying they all suck.

Is that this weekend? Seems like a lot of other teams have had their first Fall scrimmage recently.

Yes Saban said the first scrimmage is Saturday.

He also said that our guys still need to work on discipline and focus especially in difficult situations like the end of practice when they're tired and when someone makes a bad play.

From what he said in his presser yesterday, guys are still committing too many costly penalties and not quite showing enough focus. And he said the whole team can do better on that.

But he also said he's really pleased with the overall attitude of the team and their togetherness of wanting to work as a group to help the team.

Saban's praise for Seth may be the most positive thing I have ever heard him say about a player. I'm confident in our O Line.
