Ignoring? I said WR, as we were discussing WR’s. Saying “the kid from Alabama”, proves my point. You didn’t even know his name. George Pickens is probably who you were referring to. He never had 50 catches or 800 yards in a season. He was not the reason for the ‘ships.

I really think we need to give them all a chance in a new system.

I didn't mention Pickens or wide receivers. But you said you can still win it all with a solid run game and a great defense and don't need an elite receiver. Bowers qualifies. He may be listed as a TE but he's definitely an elite receiving threat.

Then who is the kid from Alabama that made such a difference that you can’t even remember his name?

Are we just ignoring the first team All-American, Mackey award winning, future 1st round pick at TE they had?

he’s also forgetting that kid from Alabama that made that diving catch against us that helped clinch the game. He’s in the league now I think he plays for the Steelers.

Again I didn't post that.

Our 1st round, Heisman-caliber succession of Tua > Mac > Bryce has made people spoiled when it comes to our QB competition this year.

Was it beneficial to have a QB playing chess at the LOS like Bryce, Mac, and Tua? Absolutely. But with our surrounding talent, we can win big with a guy playing checkers, too.

Like if its Milroe, an elite runner who only makes 2-reads before he bolts, we can't possibly win? We played in back-to-back national championships with that same guy in 2016 and 2017, and he just got paid $250m after playing QB in the Super Bowl.

John Parker Wilson went 12-0 before meeting Florida in the SECCG. Greg McElroy and Jake Coker won the national championship. Blake Sims took us to the 1st CFB playoff.

We are going to be alright, folks.

When 2 of our first 3 drives are punts and the 1st quarter ends with a 7-3 Tide lead

I forget names I knew everything else about him. Others will know him by name.

Buchner was the 1st QB shown in the video.

That must mean he is leading the competition.

Roydell Williams is absolutely yoked. He looks like he’s going to have a great season.

Ok so this is what the scoop is as of today. Had a decent convo with a sauce. Scrimmages are going to be incredibly important for selection of QB1. Buchner apparently has had several really good practices (don’t read into that to far). He is starting to get the system which is leveling the playing field. I think we are going to find our guy this weekend and see if it sticks the following weekend.

RB’s and OL are going to be freaking good.

WR’s had a good day, really seem to want to improve as a unit.

I won’t be at the scrimmage this week but next week. My brother will be there this weekend. I’ll give his thoughts on here.

I’m excited about the season. I don’t mind the unknowns.

He’s a freaking stud man. Dude looks like he was made out of granite.

We just keep putting studs into the pros at that position.

I felt like TJ Yeldon was his comp out of high school. Saw him play a few times in HS and struck me as a natural zone blocking runner. I'm guessing injuries and subpar line play has never let that come to fruition.

If the line is actually dominant this year, I imagine he could be surprise to many people.

Williams tore his ACL in 2021. He was playing really well before that. He looks to be back to full strength now. Dude looks like a ball of muscle.

Buchner winning the job is the best case scenario in my opinion

If only your opinion wasn't totally worthless.
