It was speculated when Kiffin was hired at OM that Cochran was going to be an OTF coach and not a S&C coach. I think most people blew it off but when that happened i figured that it wouldn't be long before he was gone.

Dude was reaching out to everyone he knew trying to get on the field. Saban, Kiffin, Smart, who knows who else may have received a call. Bottom line is he was checked out of S&C mentally. Truth is, it looked like he checked out about 2 years ago, which would explain some of the issues we've seen creep in recently. Glad he got a chance to get on the field, and I'm glad we can get back to a S&C coach who is passionate about his role in the program.

I like Boz, and enjoyed his info. Whether he was a true insider or not, I have no clue and don't really care. Enjoyed reading his stuff. That said, if you're gonna be that thinned skinned, that 2-3 posters out of several hundred are gonna make you take your ball and go home...well, he needs to grow a bigger pair in my personal opinion.

The S&C coach at Indiana, Ballou, is another name to remember. Has a superb reputation. Another up and comer. He or Feld would be good hires, IMO.

This is absolutely not true. Although I don’t have proof, I checked out his twitter yesterday around 3pm and it still said Oregon.

I'm gonna defend Boz... What the others did to Boz was uncalled for and did it at a level that was considered disrespectful and so, Boz was right to feel that way... Maybe he could've handled it little better, but damnit.. I would've done same thing he did...
Boz's intels are valuable to the board, but like I told Boz... Create a locked thread that only he can post it and ban folks who is considered a-hole.

This has happened a few times and Boz normally bounces back. I have no doubt he'll be dropping dimes again in a few months. A new season renews us all.

What he did was post a bunch of false stuff, some of which was logically impossible to be true. He then went even further and started to ban people for disagreeing with him.
Even if he wasn't doing all that, the other problem is that many people here take what he says as the absolute truth, which then become part of the debates.
All the while, the stuff he leaked was either him trolling, or he was being trolled. Like he claimed Tua got a D grade on his hip and that it came from the NFL Giants somehow. That's just not logically possible and there is no way a legit source would make such a claim. This on top of many other claims, and then throwing trash at people to blame them when they didn't work out.
It would be nice to have a legit insider, but I think it was all just 1 huge troll.

heard this morning that saban did not let cochran say goodbye to the team. kind of shook my head on this one. but curious nonetheless. after all, there was talk of a spy in the program, feeding kirby info, right?
