It has apparently been noted that there is the possibility Oregon was removed months ago.

About a month ago. Does anyone believe Saban found out about Cochran’s intentions yesterday?

If that's true, Saban is truly the Godfather mob boss of CFB. The man literally is always 2 steps in front of his competition.

Looks like it was all pre-planned as Coach Saban is wont to do. He was ready with the right man at the right time as he usually is. One great one leaves another slides right into place.

This man, exploding up the middle on the first play of the game against Arkansas is one of my favorite moments

Hell yes. He was galloping. Also - classic Ron Franklin call

"Big Opening - has 5, has 10 and it's Shaud Williams! He's off to the races! Might be caught from behind at the 10, changes direction, and he will score! 80 Yards - on first down - Alabama!"

I'm thankful for the work he did, but I'm also happy he's gone to UGA.

For the past couple years recently we have complained about kids putting on too much size. We have also noticed so many injuries (a good program should reduce these).

I believe Cochran fell off a bit.

So I believe this is good for all parties involved.

Herbstreit said that Cochran reached out to Kiffin before he called Kirby about moving on the field. He also spoke to Saban, but they couldn't work anything out. Thought the Kiffin bit was interesting.
