All three of the quarterbacks are mobile. That is what people don’t realize. Simpson and Buchner are very athletic. Not on the level of Milroe but they can move the chains with their feet if things break down. Buchner scored on designed QB runs in their bowl game. Simpson is a backyard type of QB who can create in the pocket and escape when he has to. I also believe that Lonergan can run too.

I actually think that Alabama has three high level tight ends with Niblack, Dippre and Lewis. I wouldn’t exactly call Outzs a high level athlete but he’s experienced and can block at a high level. Lewis makes some impressive one handed catches in the practice videos.
If we still had a Jalston Fowler-type of role in our offense Outz would be your man. He's a very good jumbo athlete.

Well if there is one thing Cubelic knnows it's O-line. That's kind of his bread and butter.
is he not same guy who said Bama Oline will maul Clemson during Tua NCG?
I like the guy but i am not buying his oline take anymore

I hear you on that but I kinda think there was some sign stealing in that game. They knew our plays better than we did.

Im glad the first two games will be played in the evening this yr, especially the Texas game.
Last yr against Texas was a 11am game and it was about 95 degree, on the field was probably 120. That takes a toll on the players no matter how good a shape they’re in.
I’m hoping for at least 80 degrees in the evening for both games.

Exactly. Obviously Milroe has an extra gear, but I don't think people understand how fast Buchner is. He's a legit running threat that defenses will have to account for.

Weather channel is showing a high of 88 and a low of 66 for game day, so it should feel nice come game time.

It’s the hottest in Texas around 4 PM.
The game being in Tuscaloosa will help, but at least in San Antonio the temperature was over 100 all week last week and it was rising still around 3-4

As fans get squeezed out of the stadiums and arenas ($$$) - I suspect this will be the way to squeeze them in their homes if they want to watch live events.

Amazon has held talks with Disney on a new ESPN streaming service, per @theinformation, that could cost between $20-$35 a month.
The tech giant could help expand its distribution — while also potentially taking a minority stake in ESPN

My QB comparison doesn’t matter, but at this point, us old heads would compare Milroe, with Danny Woodson. All the talent in the world, but just complete the passes to the right guys. Simpson, reminds me of John David Phillips, so unless someone else steps up, we’re fricked lol

What Alabama Players Learned from All-Star Lineup of Fall Camp Speakers (SI)
From Doc Rivers to Ken Griffey Jr. to Sage Steel, the Crimson Tide team got to learn from some of the biggest names in sports.

They keep squeezing and many fans are just going to quit.
I already despise NIL/transfer era CFB, they keep running things like a Vegas casino trying to monetize every part of your experience and I’ll just find something else to do with my fall saturdays.

I might need to remind you that Ohio State walked all over us with their 3rd string QB and went on to win the Natty. With a lethal run game and a defense that rains terror you can still win it all. It's not like UGA had a real QB the last two years.

I get that Bennet was a walk-on but come on, that dude is definitely a "real QB." He's even looking like a real NFL QB. UGA will absolutely feel his absence this season. I'm not even sure why Carson Beck is getting the hype he is getting. He was a highly rated recruit, sure, but that doesn't really mean all that much.

We don't abandon the run and feeding Derrick in that game, we win.

I desperately wish it would get down to 66 where I live.
But, 88 degrees would almost certainly have a heat index of 98-101 degrees.

Isn't this what people have been asking for? I'd rather have that than carry YoutubeTV for the football season.
