There was rumor we were involved with Slate Alford from State. He just committed to Georgia.

And they played with Dylan Ray. Coach at BJHS is a big Bama guy but he’s a pro, isn’t going to steer a kid

Anecdotal for now but it sounds like Jim Jarvis made a post somewhere today that hints he’s not coming back and William Hamiter made a post that indicates he is coming back. (I haven’t been able to find either - but see people commenting about it).

NIL is a game changer in partial scholarship sports. Hopefully, Bama manages it well enough to make a difference. Would be awesome to truly be a 3 sport school among the big 3.

It does seem like Jarvis is is gone. Here’s a link to his instagram post today - players wishing him best of luck in the comments. Going to wait for something more official before moving him to the definitely not returning category on the roster. #wishfulthinking

I'm not giving up hope, but we REALLY need some good portal additions if we are going to lose these type of caliber players. The new coach has an uphill battle for sure next year
