Cecil Hurt quoted a mock draft on twitter and said this:

quote:

Collin Sexton at No. 12 to the Clippers. The 2019 draft class looks thinner.

Wonder if he knows something...

Someone asked Cecil Hurt is he surprised Collin hasn’t declared and should we get our hopes up. He said:

I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you. Just saying that there are options to consider for the Sexton’s.

I gotta say I was little (just a little though) disappointed we didn't get a memorable dunk from sexton this year. Dude was an outstanding dunker in HS so I have my slim hopes he comes back and does something crazy next year.

I remember one powerful dunk he had towards the beginning of the year, but yeah he really didn’t have many dunks at all. I feel like when we moved him from PG to SG towards the end of the year he played a lot better, and the team did also. It would be interesting to see how good we could be if he came back

There was one he missed that would have been replayed for years. Got stuck in the lane and tried to throw it off the board to himself. Can’t remember which game exactly

Vs UK in the SECt. He would have finished if he wasnt being held back by the back of his jersey.

What I’m hearing on Collin Sexton: Still seems more likely that he’ll turn pro, but this hasn’t been an easy decision for him and returning to Alabama does remain a possibility, per sources.

Also hearing that there’s a good chance he won’t hire an agent if/when he does declare for the draft, which would leave open the possibility of returning to school even if he does declare

Rather than wait on the edge of my seat for weeks, I'm just going to assume he's gone and be ecstatic if I'm wrong.

I'll cover the other base. I'll hope he comes back and be devastated when he announces his departure.

Hearing the presser will be Friday. Assuming it’s the full deal but would be interesting to see if he doesn’t immediately sign with an agent, would be more waiting.

That's basically the same approach I've been taking towards games for years now. It's worked well there so no reason it won't work for this situation too.

If he doesn't hire an agent, does that give him the ability to come back to school if he doesn't go where he wanted in the draft?
