re: So, who showed their arse after the Michigan loss?

The quote from Saban about players showing their arses specifically referred to angry behavior in the locker room immediately after the Rose Bowl loss.
I found it to be a bizarre comment and was seemingly disconnected from the rest of his quotes (which focused on NIL and the state of college football today). I find it hard to believe that there weren’t plenty of players across his career that threw their helmets or were fighting mad after a terrible loss like the one in January.

Glad someone said it. Anyone who doesn’t think something fishy is going on isn’t paying attention.
The kid was lured to Mountain Brook after his eighth grade year when he played varsity at Shades Valley.
In the mid 2000s, his older brother originally played for Trussville, tried to coordinate a mass transfer of other local star players to Clay Chalkville to form a super team and got popped by the AHSAA and ended up at Shades Valley.
None of this behavior should be surprising to anyone who has been watching. They make their decisions based off $

This was a very weird game for a number of reasons. It was Sept. 21 but still the home opener, the latest home opener I can remember. And it was definitely a slow game after the barn burner @ TAMU the week prior.
But the thing I remember the most about this game was the truly incredible sunset that happened during the game. Easily the best I’ve ever seen in Tuscaloosa (a town with great sunsets), I caught myself staring it and not watching the slow game on the field. Anyone else remember that? I’m sure there are some pics out there somewhere of it
ETA: one other funny memory is that late that night after the game I remember walking down the Strip around closing time and it was a little rowdier than usual and two CSU fans were just sitting on the curb looking terrified as if to say “is it always like this?”

Hearing the presser will be Friday. Assuming it’s the full deal but would be interesting to see if he doesn’t immediately sign with an agent, would be more waiting.

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this on here yet about these tweets, but I would take very little stock in them, if at all. The twitter account is an old guy who does little but tweet angry things about Bama basketball, usually in less than complete sentences.
The only reason I’ve ever seen him before is that he responds to nearly every one of Cecil Hurts’ tweets lol. I wouldn’t start basing any narratives about team chemistry based on his rantings .
(Obligatory recognition that I have a very low post count...just a lurker)

I actually heard this today from someone who would have reason to know about it. Was surprised to see it posted about on here, so it must be getting around. Supposedly, it is already a done deal that he's headed there with Chip Kelly.
