After months of the LSU fans whining about our schedule I am starting to think they are right. I thought we had serveral pretty tough games against some good teams. Thinking about it last night I realized that when Mizzou dropped off of our schedule this year and left us with only Auburn, Kentucky and the Bengal pussies our schedule did take a hit. I still say it would have been a pretty strong schedule had the kitties from BR, LA not shite the bed. Oh well, maybe we can face Mizzou in the SECCG and boost our numbers a bit by playing the top cats from the SEC.

So when can the coaching staff start recruiting Coker?
I've seen where some have said that he graduates in December while others have said that he graduates in May. It would be nice to get him on campus by April for the spring game.

I think Coker can contact schools now but if a school wants to contact him, they would have to get permission from FSU. I wouldn't expect any of this to happen until later though. It's the middle of the season and he's 1 injury away from starting for a NC contender.

Which is a good direction for us. The DL keeps size, but we get more athletic with that size. Imagine Elam and Robinson on the same line.

It's my understanding that he is graduating in December so he would be able to enroll in January, which would allow him to participate in spring practice.
As far as FSU goes, he would be a graduate so they wouldn't be releasing him. Therefore, they could not stipulate that he is only allowed to transfer to certain schools a la releasing someone from a scholarship.
I'm interested to see the QB shake out if he does come. You gotta think 1-2 (hell maybe even 3) would jump ship. Should be interesting.

I've seen where one site had him at 30 or so % to LSU and Cam Cameron is interested (apparently he's not sold on Jennings, IMO Miles' QB evals are pretty bad lol) I would think Bama is the heavy favorite though
Another school I've also seen him have interest in is Miami, I wonder if his other runner-up Miss St would be a factor...

At QB? No, they haven't. But neither were Saban's staff at LSU or Michigan State very stellar. For every McCarron, Russell, and Baker, there was a laundry list of busts.

yep & as people saw at the beginning of the year Cam had them doing enough on the Offensive side of the ball that the D shortcomings were masked but its obviously a problem

& every program has busts at QB Cap, Bama has a few big ones true but the QB's under Miles have been pretty terrible IMO

I was just pointing out that QB evaluations are among the most difficult there is. Look at the NFL. There are only a handful of truly elite QBs. I will take Coach Saban's track record with QBs. If that's the only "bad", it is far out-weighed by the good.
