Hand told Rivals.com this week that quality-of-life issues will at the forefront of his mind during his visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend.
"Can I live there for four to five years? Can I get along with people?" he said. "(I want to) get to know the town better. What can I eat there? Where can I hang out?"
As for how he might fit on the field for the Crimson Tide, Hand said Alabama's record of success speaks for itself.
"It's just a winning tradition," he said. "Everybody is accountable for their own actions. You can count on your teammates. If you mess up, you don't have to worry about somebody else on the other side of the field - they're going to be right there to clean it up. And vice versa - if they mess up, I'm going to be there to clean it up. You need teammates like that, and I think they've got that."
Hand, who had 110 tackles, 16 sacks and 40 tackles for loss as a junior, will visit the third of his favorites, Florida, on Nov. 9. He said back in August that he intends to announce a commitment on Nov. 14.

I don't think we have a real shot with Hand at the moment, but if Hoke and the Wolverines keep herp derping all over the field before the 14th I guess anything is possible.

That may be good news on Hootie for us. Because yesterday he said before he decides he mother wants to visit both schools and he said he was coming for the LSU on an OV but did not know if his mother would be able to that weekend and would have to bring her another time.

As weird of a season they have had, they are still 6-1. If they can avoid turning the ball over they can beat everyone left on their schedule.

Guys I tried. I've spent a couple of days trying to post and carry on some semblance of logical conversations with LSU fans in their RB. It just isn't possible. They moe the goal posts any time they don't like the argument. It's sad, really.

This has always been their MO for everything not just recruiting. They are really good at it as well

Not yet. I have before. I'm sure it's coming and then they'll claim they "ran off the Gump" never acknowledging that Bama posters get banned from that section all the time and don't "run off" on our own.
