I live in Houston/Katy. I'm vary aware of the talent in this metro area. Still, I would much rather take the in-state kid with all things being equal (or nearly so).

I really like his friend Wynn more and more. He's way smaller than he should be, but he's held his own at 1-on-1s the past 2 years.
He and Casher are pretty similar...

There's a certain former center "that was too small to play" that's a GA now at Alabama. I'm sure he can help bring him along, if he were to be part of this class.

Is Whitley better than Trey Williams? personally I would rather Bama sign instate kids when they are of equal talent to an out of state kid. State Pride, keeps the locals happy and helps on future kids that are top players. Plus TW seems like a very good kid. Maybe he would be Au even if we didn't get Whitley, IDK.
BOL has said for months now that Whitley was one of the staffs biggest targets.
I see what your saying though,I really wished Bama would have gave a ship to someone like Rod Crayton last year instead of McLoed or the long snapper. Still, cant argue with the way the staff does things

Yep. I thought the "My body is ready" statue pic for the admins was in good taste.

He's isn't incredibly short, he's just skinny as an OL. He's 265 going into his Senior year, which is small for a OL.
That's why impresses me with his reps, he holds his own. His hands are fantastic...

Tyrone Wheatley Jr (15) says Michigan, PSU, and Bama are his top 3.

It's not equal in this case. Williams isnt as good as Whitley.

Maybe he hasn't said yet, but does he plan to be an EE?

An LSU poster posted in here asking a question the other day
so maybe it was an LSU poster, can you still up or downvote if you can't post? Like if you're a AU fan or USCe fan? I dunno

That's sad if people from other teams are doing this. They would need to get a time out for that.
