Even as poorly as we played if Shackleford makes two gimmie layups we win.

Period.

I'm just glad we don't play in a good basketball conference so we can at least pretend like we have a great basketball team.

Tough loss wanted the win steak to continue. Home team got some serious favor on foul calls all game.

Bounce back next game they fought hard.

There’s a reason he didn’t make it at Villanova. Gotta he smart to play there.

First game we really missed Bruner, they got a ton of offensive rebounds.

Losing on the road to a good team is far from the end of the world.

They are a good team, losing might not be the worst thing, we were playing really tight these last 3 games. Maybe this frees us up again.

But that's also 3 straight games our opponent has been able to get us out of our game offensively, and that's very concerning. I think one problem is we don't have a true, above average point guard.

Yep. That’s the scary thing is it’s now been 3 games in a row where we’ve looked mediocre offensively. Oats has to fix that soon. LSU’s defense is normally the perfect team to get your offense corrected though.

Trust me, I won't. Every time I start to believe the hype, and actually watch a game, they lose.

I find it hard to believe any of these folks even followed the football team through the Mikes.

Or if Reese hit one of those open threes at the end.

Yeah if you're going to try to start so many possessions on offense with dribble penetration to force the defense to stand pat or help, you have to have someone who can finish at the rim if they don't help. We don't have that player. We did last year, we will next year, but we don't this year.

We badly need a bye week to be frank.

Cam we fake a COVID deal here soon or something?

We get it, this is the first Bama basketball game you've watched this year and we lost. Do us a favor and quit watching, you're obviously a jinx.

i have not posted much today but I saw a lot of low BB IQ plays that started all game long with two of the seniors Jones and Petty. I am surprised we stayed in the game. Our D was good for the most part but there were a couple of the OK drives to the basket where we did a major swing and a miss. Especially on the dunk where he split two of our guys

You have to lose in basketball sometime. Better now than later. Calm down. The sky isn’t falling.

Tough loss to a decent team. Didn't get many calls, but that tends to be road basketball. Positive spin is that our defense alone is good enough to at least give us a chance on an off shooting night.

I'm just glad that I can watch selection Sunday wondering where our guys will be seeded instead of having to wait for the NIT announcement.

And teams have discovered that and have decided that the most efficient option for them is to give us contested layups at the rim.

And for 3 games it's been effective.
