The one inexcusable thing about this game is that we came back by putting the ball in Herb’s hands, and then we just segued into “let Shack do everything” for some reason.
That’s not even anti-Shackleford, it’s more a criticism of Oats.
Anyway, they got some help from the refs but it’s hard to say we deserved to win.

Tough game. It was there for the taking but we didn’t play well. Gotta get back on track in conference. We really need a conference title this year.

This game doesn't really hurt us. Shows us what we'll be facing in the tourney. Just need to get our scoring issues resolved.

Reese is supposed to be a good shooter. How many of those were wide open and he missed?

It's pretty obvious now the only reason Bama is winning is that the SEC is very WEAK this year.
Bama can kiss a 2 or 3 seed goodbye, likely a 4 or 5 seed now.
Bama's nonconference record is too bad and the SEC too weak to get anything above a 4 seed.

Shack couldn’t finish at the rim even with some good looks. The offense has to get fixed or we will just be a good but not great team. Sucks that we blew a prime opportunity against a short handed team to finally get a resume non conference win. Even if we keep rolling through the SEC, it’ll bite us come seeding time.
