I say that because they were down 2 good players and were giving us open lanes all night. Our guys wanted to shoot but we should have been driving hard today.

Seriously, lots of pretty solid melting over a road loss to a good team in a game where even the announcers were talking about a lot of bad calls going against us.
Bama is still a good team, plays d, can hit shots, didnt have a great game offensively but was still in the game at the end. Fought back in the 2nd half when a lot of people in here expedted them to fold.

I just don't know what you do on offense. We have slowed down trying to set it up in the half court since they are perimeter.
If they know we won't setup mid range basically forces us to drive right at them and hope for fouls

And 42nd (at least they were) in overall defensive efficiency. That’s not terrible, that’s not even middle of the pack. They’re an above average defensive team at worst.

They are top 40 in adjusted defense, they aren't a bad defensive team at all.
Their worst defensive player missed the game today, he was their best offensive player too, but it helped their defense.

We lost by 5 to a ranked team on a hot streak st their place with Bruner still out and half our team banged up. Chill out.

That's the first OU game I've watched all season, and I wouldn't define their defense today as terrible. Some of that is on us, but they did a great job taking us out of our game. Kruger is known as a good defensive coach.
But that's also 3 straight games our opponent has been able to get us out of our game offensively, and that's very concerning. I think one problem is we don't have a true, above average point guard.

That is true, need to spend some time figuring out how to finish in traffic and how to play in control even when going fast.

Again I just don’t know why we took the ball out of Herb’s hands. We had found something offensively with him facing up and even posting up, and then we just stopped.
All of a sudden Shack was bringing the ball up, Shack was running the offense, Shack was driving, etc. And he wasn’t having an especially good game. Just weird.

I'm curious if there are some small adjustments that we have in our book that include guys diving to the rim on the dribble drive to counterbalance defenders just gave guarding 3 pt shooters as the ball goes to the rim.
The other question is can we execute it. Quinnerly's bad decisions in bunches are destroying us.
