Return game in Mobile at a later date.

Hell yeah! Take my money now!

I'm guessing this will be in our new arena/civic center. Though South Alabama is a great place to watch a game. But probably too small for a power 5 non con game.

I don't understand playing all these great non-con teams and never playing any in Tuscaloosa (yea yea, Purdue...which was great). That was a great game and they brought great fans. No downside to even losing that game.

Seton Hall? meh. Do better.

Things is, there's other cities in the state besides Tuscaloosa and Birmingham. Playing games in Mobile and Huntsville isn't just great exposure, it lets fans get to see Bama play for once without having to get a hotel room. It's 7 hours round trip from Mobile to Tuscaloosa. That's a hard task to do in a day plus watch a game.

Yea I get the travel side but I do that about 10-12 times a year myself, 5 hours of travel for me. Seems like folks that go more should be rewarded.

Play a game in those cities, just not the best ones.

All my Mobile friends were excited so I do get that side of it but I'm writing a check again next month to support the program. Big games > Tuscaloosa.

I think we've only had under 15 Tuscaloosa games one time since I've had season tix so they'll likely add more.

Michigan is about to empty the coffers for Nate. All we can do is hope he's not interested.

I guess you can’t turn down the opportunity to coach Cooper Flagg.

I’m sure they will promote from within, Basically, too late to do anything else. They will probably keep most if not all the roster as well. Most teams don’t have the spots or NIL money left this late.

Dusty May to the Mavs. Will be interesting to see who Michigan targets. Crazy timing to be in a coaching carousel

Likely internal promotion within staff.

Michigan has yet to hold a full team meeting, a source tells @On3. Former Oklahoma State head coach and Michigan assistant Mike Boynton looms as the top internal option.LINK LINK

He just signed an extension, is happy here, and it's late June. They're going to do the exact same thing everyone else faced with a coaching change this late does: internal promotion, ride it out for a year or two, and reassess the program.

Unless another Wittingham situation falls into their lap, but that isn't Nate.

I think the $15m buyout is going to keep him here for now. That's a pretty big number to fork out before you even factor in his contract and Michigan's huge NIL budget.

Better hope they don't give him a crazy contract. Rather pay him bank for a year or 2 before doing a real hire.
