No games in Tuscaloosa but I bet season ticket prices see another healthy increase

I don't understand playing all these great non-con teams and never playing any in Tuscaloosa (yea yea, Purdue...which was great). That was a great game and they brought great fans. No downside to even losing that game.

Seton Hall? meh. Do better.

Away/neutral games are better for metrics.

Tuscaloosa games are better for season ticket holders. But yea, I hear ya.

Just one really good one a year when you are playing 6? Seems reasonable.

Only two games in Tuscaloosa is wild. I’m sure they’ll add a couple a buy games but it’s hard to ask folks to pony up for season tickets when there’s only a handful of nonconference games and the marquee game is Seton Hall.

Since 2012, tix have increased around 300%, not the fees, just the tickets.

Sherrell claiming he didn't leave for more money but to become a better player and play a bigger role.

going to a school with notoriously bad management, that hasnt done anything but underachieve since bob knight, and where hell most likely play a bit at the 4. call me crazy but thats not the ideal situation to maximize his talents. i dont think sherrells that dumb but he is def full of shite.

That's a really good question. Hard to know honestly. I thought last year's team overachieved a little bit, all things considered. This team doesn't have the achilles heal of last year's team (small and below the rim at the 2 and 3 spots). But it's a lot of new faces, some of which look really good, but hard to know. Think we can be very good defensively from day 1 though and I still think our success ultimately hinges on defense when we get deep in the tournament..

I think our athleticism will be tremendously better, which should help with Alabama's woes from last season when it came to the backboards. More depth inside.

I think there's a ton of potential with the backcourt but really need that extra point guard (Anderson Diaz) IMO to really set them for a big run.
