I am with you but I have a bad taste in my mouth the way it ended. Be competitive and we were not with our best two pichers chitting the bed. Reminds me of how I felt after the loss to Indiana in FB.

Meh, it happens. I don't think we need to let two games in a world series that we haven't sniffed since 1999 blur the reality of how good this program has gotten in two years. Two bad games in a WS isn't going to tank the program. My guess is recruiting and money coming in will get better just because of this season. I think we have the right coach and he's on the right track.

I posted the other day that I wouldn’t mind having Meade on deck if Vaughn ever bolts, but I’m honestly not sure. Dude kinda seems like a prick.

He is only around 38 and the Troy guy is 41. Cost of living in Troy is probably lower than Ttown so it would take a lot of money to keep him in Troy. What does Vaughn make?

Hitting struggled all year but I’ll say this to me it was mostly personel. When I looked at MSST and GA players that was some big arse dudes. This was a smaller team and problem was they struggled to play small ball. Little things like not laying bunts down and the only player that seemed to be a reliable base stealer was LeBron. I think hitting woes can be addressed with better talent.

While I agree we need better personnel I’d like to hear any argument on continuing to slot Torres at 4 and Hines at 6 when Torres was beyond struggling most games.
