Looks like he was their Saturday guy, unless he worked his way into Friday later in the year (haven’t checked).
But he was “2026 FIRST-TEAM ALL-SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE PITCHER”

Posters on BOL reporting another commitment from Ole Miss Transfer RHP Noah Allen. Haven’t seen an official announcement yet.

I'm happy they are returning but the fact they feel the need to announce it makes me sad at the state of affairs in college athletics.

Been this way for three or four years now.
I really enjoyed the baseball season this year but overall the college sports have lost me a little bit each year. I just simply don’t care as much as I used to. I can’t follow recruiting anymore and connecting to the team is more difficult than ever.

For some of these guys I think it’s more that they are asked or that the university puts out the announcement instead of them making it a big deal.
Like Hines is a Tuscaloosa kid who always dreamed of going to Alabama. I don’t think he would do some big “I’m not transferring!” type announcement.
I tend to see it as more of a getting ahead of the worrying silence. But yes it’s still a gross state of affairs.
