I dont know where all this comes from in regards to Alabama's resources. GB said that he suspects most ADs are running in the red right now and we definitely are not.
Add to that, we have the 3rd most talented roster according to 247. Its not like we're getting chumped in recruiting high level players. KDB and Morgan have both said we're taking a conservative approach to the new system of recruiting and even so, we're fricking stacked.
Just about every journalist who has tried to estimate the resources available for programs has included us at a reasonably high level. In terms of AD revenue we are easily one of the most valuable programs in CFB, which means we are in a crazy high percentile in the entire world of sports.

We went to the college football playoffs, the sweet 16, and the world series in baseball and softball last year. I know this is more about marketing and NIL, but our Athletic Department is getting good results.

One thing to remember was we were the first to sign a deal like that. It was lauded as forward thinking. However as we've come to find out over and over in this new era are rules keep changing. Remember that was Saban's complaint with Jimbo and A&M. They interpreted the rules one way, and Alabama another way. Nothing is cut or dry, black or white anymore. It changes seemingly daily and now if you don't like the change you file a lawsuit. Rinse and repeat.

Correct. It’s about the future.
I also think the University should take pages out of the Atlanta Braves and Dallas Cowboys playbook.
Build attractions, entertainment, and hotels around BDS. Use all of that income towards NIL and the AD

Are the 20 or so bars not good enough? I would put Bama against almost anybody when it comes to entertainment around BDS. That is one good thing we got going for us compared to other schools.

I like it! $25 entry fee and we can make it like the Haunted House ride at Disney World. We could then afford to payroll everyone including scout teams and pay the communications people off to turn the headsets for Grubb off.

The University gets what it wants basically just from the rent of the land from the tenants. I like the idea of a Truist park but I'm not sure we have the big money spenders to support it all year long that would be required. I know University of Tennesee is doing that, but they are also located in a bigger city that has more than just the University they can support

Bulldoze Resse Phiffer and some Sorority houses for mixed use commercial/residential?
Truist works because there are 82 home games per year. That is a good bit more than 7 Saturdays.
It may shock some of you to learn the primary focus of the University is not building the largest NIL collective.

Good Lord, I would be very opposed to making that graveyard some kind of weird tourist attraction. It would be beyond tacky and I’m sure the loved ones of those people buried there wouldn’t be too happy either.
Personally, I have a real problem with people who mess with graves/head stones. Obviously, I have zero say in this but if I did, it would be a hard pass.
