This is a major test for the coaches. Everything's at stake. We'll see what kind of halftime adjustments they make.

Game's still not out of reach.

Most of these plays have pass tags but Milroe predetermines what he will do every play. Or maybe the coaches predetermine it for him because he doesn’t read it well. It’s hard to say.

I don’t think this is an RPO offense over the last few weeks.

Most of the runs haven’t even really been option looks.

It’s just QB power into 8-9 man looks.

This defense only looks good when they’re attacking, right now they’re playing on their heels…reacting, just like the Vandy game. I’d rather get beat over the top than these long drives that wear the defense out.

It’s one thing to lose when the other team is just playing a great game and you can tip your cap. But this would be the second loss this year (UT) where the other team actually played pretty bad and we still lost.

And the third loss was to a team that played well but is way less talented (Vandy).

Hopefully find a way to “survive and advance.”

This may be a game where a quarterback change is needed. No lie. The offense is totally stagnant with him leading it.

Our staff doesn’t have the balls.

Tua isn't on the bench, unfortunately.

Oh now it’s a ball being thrown too hard that caused the drops?

These dudes are crazy and embarrassing

I mean all the excuses for every player and sometimes the coordinators but somehow everything is the QBs fault

On a positive note we get the ball 1st second half.

Maybe we should delete this thread and start over?

You know your DC is shite when the fans are yelling to put in another lineman the entire second quarter

This man doesn’t have any 4-3 sets in his playbook I guess

Straight run calls to the RBs and cut the QB draw and read plays. Call a screen or TE up the seam.

Agreed.

A friend of mine who I have been discussing this with just offered that Okie’s game plan is Vandy on offense and Tennessee on defense … I think he’s right and they’re executing it perfectly and we are arse tonight. There’s no sugar coating it, we are arse, and we have 30 minutes to get it together or we are going to lose a game we shouldn’t.

And we have to score a TD because we may only get the ball 3 times the rest of the way.

All these Jalen defenders in here: Oklahoma has a game plan to stop him on the ground. Do y’all think the second half is suddenly going to be where he’s throwing the ball all over the field and it will “click”? Or do y’all think maybe it’s not great to have a non-traditional two trick pony back there that leaves us unable to run a normal offense if his legs or deep ball get taken away?
