I'm losing my mind! Nuss Buss with the fricking "READ OPTION" for a TD! Where the frick was that the last 2 years? I'm talking to you, Slone, you assclown of an OC.

Where was Nuss actually taking off himself lol. Are we going to pretend like you assholes weren't crying, "Why are we running read option when he never takes the ball"? Holy shite all the revisionist history from just a couple months ago is truly hilarious right now.

Shows the he was coached to not take the read when it called for him to keep.

Sloan and BK were absolute JOKES at LSU. The whole O was an unmitigated disaster, imagine how the OL was "coached" by Davis and Kelly?

It has been more than obvious for a long time that LSU had nothing as a backup. LSU started with a good record and LSU could not afford to lose Nuss to some crazy tackle/ankle sprain....so I'm very sure BK and Sloan told him to never run unless he had an open field and plenty of room to slide before being hit....and that is what we say all season. Never pull it on the read option. We saw him actually run we in the bowl game the previous year, so they knew he could run. The coaches just didn't want to chance anything to lose Nuss, ,and they did anyway with some weird torso injury, which really affected his throwng velocity, which is his strong suit.

I love Nuss and wish him the best, but that stat line for MVP is kind of like Shadeur making the Pro Bowl.

GD the hate some of yall have for him. Kid stayed at LSU the entire time. Came back his senior year to try to win a natty. Took an absolute beating the entire time. Obviously didn’t work but that’s not on him.

He’s absolutely a late 1st to second round prospect.

Go complain about nil transfers if you want but he is the epitome of what you want as a Tiger. Wish him nothing but success.

Nuss bled purple and Gold. You could have put prime Tom Brady behind that O line and you wasn’t going to win

I couldn't be happier for the kid. I'm sure that, somewhere, Brian Kelly is cursing the kid's name for how things ended in Baton Rouge, but the person he can talk to is in the mirror.

I thought Nuss was unable to do that? Coaching…

He repped LSU well. His interview after winning the MVP was great. I sure wish we could have given him just a little OLine help this past year.

That read option for a TD was like watching Peyton Manning do it. Probably the only time this ever happens. But still, Manning had a pretty good pro career. Go get’m Nuss!

Great to see after a tough year. Prior staff did him no favors playing him injured and having a questionable OL.

Did anybody here ever think Nuss would be MVP of the Senior Bowl? Not me. Wonder what the odds were on that. Glad for him. Moving on now to the CLK era.

"...a rushing touchdown on the ground..."
Where else could the touchdown be made in this circumstance?
Who writes this nonsense?

I think Nuss's biggest problem at LSU last year was lack of offensive line protection. Imo.
