OK, I'm starting to think that this guy isn't a good basketball coach....
It's not excuses, it's just facts. He was being mentioned for rookie of the year before his MCL sprain in November. Obviously he was playing decisively better
He had an MCL sprain in November. And before that, yes he was being mentioned for rookie of the year. You can look it up if you want.. He was playing decisively better
Before his injury he was getting mentioned for rookie of the year. I'm more worried about him getting pushed back
Where it is he was a lot better before a little injury he had during the season. I'm more worried about him getting pushed straight back
Why does it say for Peyton Manning under awards,...Hall of Fame, but zero championships? This is from 2009. Peyton was not in the Hall of Fame till 2021 obviously, & he won his first championship in 2007...
What am I missing?
I don't think the OP believes that that team could literally beat 2019 LSU.
But they were the most dominant team in history is what he's saying. The era is what it is. They can't help that

I bet the Knicks know about it. That's why they're trading for him. Everything he brings that makes the crowd chant his name in the first place
Not trying to defend it, but If all those people weren't injured all the time and actually played, we could be on the bubble of the playoffs. With good coaching. I think that's the point. Trey isn't injury prone. Poole it is not injury prone. Murray is a little bit. He was an All-Star. Obviously Zion is.
I guess they live in a pretend world where they think all of these people will be healthy and playing to their potential simultaneously with great coaching
They must have high hopes

I pray you're joking.
I agree with all of it except I believe we have to get rid of Ruiz. There's no reason to purposely have the right guard handicap us. A mid round pick would be fine. Almost anything would be better than him.
Not only is the line the most important thing on a team besides a quarterback, but especially for a rookie or second year guy. Use one of our fourth rounders

He will be a good pro. If we didn't just find our franchise quarterback, then yes you take him. Smh...

Not in the first round though
All of the criticism? Granted last year yes. He took too many chances and did not run enough. He made up for it however with big plays because he actually had decent protection and was not injured. This year, he still warrants that same criticism.
However a lot of of the criticism this year was more than just his decision making and not running. It was his accuracy. And criticism for lame ducks that he was throwing occasionally. When he was clearly injured. Not to mention a horrible offensive coordinator. Zero protection and running for his life from three lineman while eight defenders drop back.
Combining his chance taking with his injuries, the line, and the o. coordinator, ..it was a shite show . But the only warranted criticism is still... him taking too many chances,.., and not running enough.
I'm sure you were saying the same thing last year when he wasn't hurt right? Lmao it's OK to be wrong. Just move along
Yeah he's always had the same decision-making. We didn't criticize him except for two things. He took too many chances and he didn't run enough. But he made up for it with big plays and he was a pretty damn solid quarterback with great arm talent. We didn't beat him down and call for our backup quarterback. We were all excited for this year. But when you add in him getting hurt, which has affected his decision-making,...and took away from this confidence. Affected his velocity. Affected his accuracy. Affected everything. When you take that into account, plus a horrible offensive line that gets pressure from a three man rush with eight people dropping back, and a horrible offensive coordinator, and all of a sudden people think he's a different quarterback.

He's still the same quarterback. He doesn't deserve less or more criticism than he did last year. Whatever you thought about him last year should be exactly the same this year.

If you've always criticized him for decision-making, then you're still correct.

But with a real offensive coordinator and a real offensive line and his injury healed, and him growing and learning, he will be a solid quarterback in the NFL.
And our season would have been different this year also.

Trapped on the nuss buss?
No one complained about him the year before except that he took too many chances and didn't run enough. We were all excited for this year.
Then he got hurt. It's that simple.
And you think people were trapped because we we're smart enough realize he was hurt instead of criticizing him and shitting on him every second? Lmao. Now that bus is headed to the NFL. Just like we all knew it would
I could've sworn I read this exact statement on Grok

When the Saints were in the playoffs, offense was never the problem. Offense is the Broncos problem right now, with and without Nix.

I'm sure Drew Brees played a big part of that

Yeah that looks about right.
A strong line will really open up the offense
