At tribal she looked like she had spent the day at a spa. No one should look that good on Survivor.

And justin should have made more of a case to stay.

Evidently he did but the producers chose to cut that part out. Ticks me off when they show 15 minutes of Sai being stupid then cut something that we should have seen.

They don’t see mondo as Swedish just like we wouldn’t see some rent a win person as American

Well, since he IS a Swedish citizen, yes they do see him as Swedish!

What do you mean" his mother won't let anyone talk"?

Our tour director in Sweden's mother won't let anyone talk when Mondo is on TV competing.

That is so overblown

Swedish people told me that! Our tour director told me that when Mondo is on TV, his mother won't let anyone talk. I also spoke to some military men who raved about him. So yeah, Swedish people love him.

People still care about this anti American bum outside of the Olympics?

You obviously don't know the reasons behind WHY he left the US to continue his sport in Sweden. When we were in Sweden last year, people would comment on my LSU hat and ask if I knew him. He is considered a national treasure over there.
One of my favorite movies that was unbelievably sad. The last scene made me cry like a baby.

My husband and I saw the movie Brave the Dark yesterday and it made me think of this movie because the high school drama department was doing the play Flowers for Algernon.

re: Young Sheldon. Discuss

Like some other posters have mentioned, the earlier season were better than the ones when Sheldon was older. We haven't watched the spinoff of Georgie and Mandy because the trailers just didn't appeal to us.

BBT is still one of the best comic shows to us. The writing and the acting were stellar. JMHO of course.
Not that I've noticed.

She's just annoying at this point but maybe it's because she's a teenager.
So far I've watched the first two episodes and am enjoying it. Some of the original cast has been pretty well replicated with new actors but for some reason, the actor playing Deb just doesn't do Deb as well as the original. Maybe she'll grow on me.
I have finally stopped holding my breath when someone is fielding a punt or kick-off. He was awesome in this game!
Never wanted him and still don't.
When we really like a series that has finished broadcasting (mostly British detective series) we'll watch one per night. Every once in a while, if there is a huge cliffhanger, we'll watch the next one.

But to binge a bunch of episodes daily, not going to happen.

SPOILERS:

The elephant in the room is that they can't make Kate VP. The show has too many supporting characters that are in the UK so it wouldn't work unless they completely change the trajectory of the show. And obviously now Janney is going to be president.

Agreed! Unlike a lot of shows, you really have to pay attention to the dialog!

The Diplomat Season 2

I searched and couldn't find a thread. We finished this last night and couldn't believe the end. Allison Janney did a good job playing the vice president.

Love the love/hate relationship between Kate and Hal.

Can't wait for season 3!
Never! It was a brutal weekend. Just goes to show that rankings don't mean that much this early. :geauxtigers:

Fans were throwing oranges onto the field throughout the game, due to us going to the Orange Bowl that year.

That was a great game! We were throwing oranges anticipating going to the Orange Bowl IF we beat the Noles. The announcers were kind of clueless, wondering what was going on. I am still amazed they let the students into the game carrying huge bags of oranges! :nana:
1965 Tulane 62-0 home game

Ole Miss away 1967

I can't remember any neutral games back then unless they were bowl games. The most recent one was the Fiesta Bowl 2018 ~ Burrow's coming out party! What a game. 50-yard line seats right behind the Tiger bench. Bucket list for this old lady fan.
