The Bears missed big by not taking JD. They can screw up a draft better than anyone and doesn't matter who the GM or Coach is.

MK has forgot more about coaching than 99% of us. This is a different team than last year with some really talented additions to include several freshmen.

That is a foolish comparison. The bowl games are a nice reward for teams, generates revenue for the team and the host cities.
What really needs to change is NIL and the portal. They need to have some reasonable rules for both. Maybe the portal should be closed once the season begins until the week after the Championship game is played.

Thats great but he needs to play where the coach needs him and understand the coaches may be a better judge of where he will fit best at the next level along with there is a very talented player there now.
He could have went to the bowl game and had the conversation after the game. Sitting out says a lot to me and is a huge turn off. Needs to buy into the TEAM concept quickly or hit the exit door.

Well if it is a personal issue hope he resolved it. If he is not happy he needs to move on and it's next MAN up. This is going to happen with no rules around NIL and basically free agency every year.

Let's be real his ego is too big and the game has passed him by. He can recruit, especially with an endless bag of cash but he was fired because his teams underperformed.
