Lane Kiffin's son, Knox Kiffin, will attend U-High in Baton Rouge, starting next semester.

Knox, a class of 2028 quarterback, played for Oxford High School in Mississippi during his sophomore season this past fall and passed for 1403 yards and 16 touchdowns in six games.

Knox holds offers from Cal, Washington, SMU, Western Kentucky, and other schools.

I thought he believed in the public school system.

U-High is actually though of as a public school. I know it plays in Select but so do other public schools like Edna Karr, et al.

It’s public but exclusive and you do pay tuition

If my dad were the head coach at LSU I'd probably just go there too.

Is this controversial? Seems like he had 3 or 4 options and went with a pretty good choice imo.

For anyone who has watched a complete Knox game (not just highlights):

University High Receivers better start mentally preparing for a steady diet of hospital balls.

Who do they play that can deliver a hospital shot though?

kiffins don't care about nobody but kiffins

That was a double negative. “Don’t care about nobody” means they care about everybody.

It was always rumored that he had enrolled a couple of weeks before Kiffin officially left for LSU. It’s kind of funny they are making some big announcement now.

I thought the title said he was attending Baton Rouge High School. I was like, that's random as hell.

A really bad headline. Tigerdroppings capitalizes every word in a headline, and it's not traditionally done that way.

I did my student teaching there. Even then it was an elitist school. Politicians, CEO’s, professors, etc. Then they recruited top athletes whose parents were rewarded with jobs at LSU. So it hasn’t changed. It is not a non- select school for a reason.

What’s the current qb status at Uhigh? Do they have a returning starter?
user avatar

They were already pretty loaded at QB, but I’m sure the coach will play Kiffin instead.

This was a pretty much forgone conclusion under the circumstances. With the new rules concerning the players visiting the coaches house, Kiffin needed to live really close to campus. If he were to go to Catholic he would have to sit out a year. Because the area off of Stanford is U High’s home attendance zone, he is immediately eligible
