Consumer Reports just told everyone that wanted a Tacoma to buy a Ridgeline instead because the new turbo Toyota products suck. I would get a Frontier, Colorado, or Ranger before the Gladiator but there are clearly worse products now (Tacoma being it).

But I don’t want a minivan Ridgeline, I want a Tacoma because it looks a lot better than the rest & at least Toyota actually fixes their issues. Ranger & GM have sucky turbo engines too but I guess people are used to their quality issues. Ford just recently snuck in a brand new transmission in Ranger cause the other one sucked so bad. Word of wisdom…never buy first couple years of a brand new model or powetrain.

Gladiator is a weird vehicle that doesn’t do anything well. From the side it looks too long & out of proportion. I wouldn’t purchase one anyway because Chrysler sucks ars but they should’ve made a 2door variant. Would look much better.

rather get a good ol' McDonalds cheeseburger which is cheaper and better imo.

Lol….no way in hell you’re serious about this. That’s not a real burger.

You wouldn't have been if you saw what came before it. It was exactly what you would expect from the Ruins of Detroit. We used to refer to it as Pyongyang International. It may have been the worst major airport in N America Ever. Abysmal beyond description. Hot and humid inside 24/7/365. A McDonald's and something completely inedible were your only two restaurant options on the non-NWA side. NWA's terminal was not much better.

Sheesh Baw! That brings back memories I’ve been traveling to Detroit area to visit relatives all of life. McNamara terminal was built in early 2000’s. It’s amazing still & one of the best in US.

Texas is basically a Bible Belt haven for white evangelical Christian boomers from California who want to flee the state’s political climate. You know, the “dey terk our jerbs!” type. I’m a Catholic and I can’t stand evangelical Protestants. Absolute morons.

Wow….and it’s just Monday. Lol
I grew-up Catholic, now Baptist by choice. It sucks that you feel this way towards other practicing Christians & people that worship differently than you. Prayers for you Baw.
And….you sound like a blast at parties.

Yeah they are failing left and right. They just haven’t been part of the safety recall like the non-hybrids because the electric motor can at least get the truck a few feet off the highway when the turbo V6 seizes.

lol…ok, now I know your full of shite.

The iforce 5.7 has been overall a very reliable engine. Many people were disappointed Toyota dropped it.

This is proof that you can’t make anyone happy. Many of the same people & many auto journalists were complaining about this same 5.7 liter for being “ancient” & “thirsty”.
List is shite! The hybrid iforce engines in tundra’s haven’t been plagued with the regular turbo6 problems.

Also, Toyota will actually fix these issues unlike the domestic makes.

Things are very bright in Youngsville.

Like what? I keep hearing that from peeps who live there. Nunu’s? Stine?
Am I missing something about Youngsville? I’ve been through there several times & it just appears to be a bunch of nice hoods surrounded by sugar cane, super congested roads & a nice sports complex. So just….sprawl?

Tacoma’s had teething issues for sure (like every new platform) but I’d bet Toyota fixes those quickly, unlike the domestics. Ranger just switched to a brand new turbo engine for ‘25 model year. That’s odd! I’d buy Taco over a Ranger or GM turbo engine ANY day. Plus Tacoma has more options to choose from.

Check out the Mercedes GLE.

lol….no way in hell, especially the large one. I guess if you lease cars are buy every couple years, maybe. Mercs (with all that tech) are huge money pits long term.
I’m all for more small truck options. An actual cheap electric trucklet for Home Depot runs could be a game changer. I’ll reserve judgement until I see the concept rather than a factory mule driving around.
