Closer Look At Former LSU's Leonard Fournette's $1,300 Spring Game Shoes
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports
Leonard Fournette was still getting some attention at LSU’s spring game on Saturday. The former Tigers star RB was rocking these $1,300 purple Christian Louboutins. Yep, he's ready for the draft....

quote:

Bold and sleek in electro patent, “Louis Flat Spikes” is the definitive red sole sneaker. A true Louboutin original, this style is one of our most sought-after for men, so catch it if you can.

"Leonard Fournette was getting some still getting some. attention not he field at LSU’s spring game at Tiger Stadium on Saturday." -- This could be the WORST non-sentence in the history of mankind. Terribad.

Agreed. It's all about selling the "cool look" image with fashion. Unfortunately, our society eat it like it's no tomorrow.

Called free shoes and free money for wearing them.

Good for him. We all spend money on things that the next man might not agree with. The one thing a real man should never do is count what is in another man's pocket.

Hard to understand why so many athletes go bankrupt

It must be if you think the cause is designer shoes

"It must be if you think the cause is designer shoes"..... no, it's not the cause, but it's an example of very poor decision making. If he'd buy something as silly as this, before he ever earned his first paycheck, chances are he'll make many other terrible financial decisions. I hope not, but many, many athletes go broke.

Free is a good price for LF to wear them but to be paid to wear them is a bonus.

It's better than Jamarcus Russell's giant "Bama Boy" elephant chain/pendant "weight" he wore on the LSU sidelines

Comments are priceless. There is a good chance LF paid a reduced cost or got them for free. Give a pair of $1200 shoes away is c h e a p advertising. Look at the twitter hits and such. LF is a brand.

Well said. I'm confident that most of the 228k people who follow LF7 on Twitter had never even heard of Christian Louboutin before this. Great marketing.
