Getting What They Voted For

This is a dumb quote because some people vote the opposite. And some don’t vote at all. Did they get what they voted for? Seems like the only entities that get what they “voted for” is the large corporations and elites. That’s because they invest though lobbying. You think an elected politician is going to listen to you vs someone who donated 100 mil?

Don’t be to hard on young people. When I was 26, I jobless and full of debts. I finally started to get my life together at the age 34. People do change over time because life forces them to do so. And they have time on their side which is a big asset.

Right, people will trade ease and convenient of technology for hardcover books. I hate AI as much as anyone but this is a pipe dream.

That’s partially correct. Vietnam economic system is very capitalistic. But majority of businesses are sole proprietorships with few regulations. I’ve been back 6 times and I’m amazed how many entrepreneurs of all ages are there. The neighborhood I was staying 8/10 house were running some kind of business…coffee shops, local convenient store, produce stand, hair washing place, delivery business, 2 food shops, a printing office. Gov doesn’t do social assistance so you have to do something.

You have scan your card to get in, wait in line who knows how long to check out, then wait in another line to get your receipts and items checked before you can exit. You can do business with Costco but only cult members defend it.

I used to look down at Sam’s but ever since I got the membership, I prefer it over Costco. The fact that you can walk in, scan your items and walk out without being stopped makes it better. And their online ordering systems is way ahead of Costco’s Jurassic version.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, It’ll be nice to see McGregor get finished. On the other hand, it’s a waste of a good main event at IFW.

If somehow McGregor wins, you can bet he’s getting a title shot. That would be a circus of all circus.
Modern NBA. You don’t have to be the best, only the best actor.
