Brian Kelly Responds To Rumors About Golfing & Drinking During His Time At LSU

Former LSU head coach Brian Kelly was on Sirius XM College Sports Radio on Friday and was asked about what he is doing with his free time down in Florida these days and how his golf game is...

In his response, Kelly jokingly pushed back on the rumors that all he was doing at LSU was 'golfing and drinking.'

"Well, if you ask LSU, I was playing 350 rounds of golf all through the year and drinking in my office."

"The thing they didn't know is that I have a torn left rotator cuff that I suffered in the Florida game on the sideline. I got hit by an offensive and defensive lineman, and I tore my rotator cuff. So I haven't played much golf. I've been rehabbing mostly."

So many people hate this guy but he was actually a decent person. Superior talent and some luck won championships for CLM and CEO but Kelly didn’t have the knack for securing enough five star lineman and stars. Maybe Lane can start out recruiting others in the SEC but winning a natty will take more. A playoff appearance is mandatory year 1 or SNAFU2
