Alternatively our Florida friends could argue those are launch pad platforms of the coast of Kennedy Space Center or Canaveral Air station.
I think a few of them may have some insider connections. But nothing to the effect of statements like “done deal” or “ink is dry”. They were probably given generalized snippets of insight regarding mutual interest and the increasing level of negotiating. Then some made their call as a prediction/opinion just to be the first to report (assuming it would break in the coming days).
I’d take Dilly in a heartbeat.
We do better historically with these types of hires. Plus save some salary funds for elite staff/NIL.

That 2019 D didn’t have the best year’s stats. But they got nasty late in the year into the playoffs.

Dave Aranda landing spot

Seat is hot and something to keep an eye on if we land offensive minded HC.
Spaht is the biggest benefactor. And supposedly by a good margin. Not even an alum, just grew up/still is a huge tiger fan. That now has Silicon Valley disposable income to spend on LSU athletics.
The appeal?

Though I’d prefer Lane- getting someone like Dilly for ~9M/6-7 years is more appealing (to me) than Lane 14M/8-10 years. Putting that 5 million to NIL.

Partly agree here. But absolutely NIL commitments are up to par with any contact values discussion.

100% agree. Impeach is faster than voting him out a few years from now. I get the populist rhetoric but when it comes to LSU no dude.
Regretting my my vote for him.
Just like any industry- the high performers are under paid. Scraps could be curled up and reduced.
