Breaking: Scott Woodward Is Out As LSU Athletic Director

Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports reports that LSU and AD Scott Woodward are parting ways. According to Woodward’s contract, he is owed roughly $6.4 million.

Verge Ausberry is expected to serve as the interim athletic director.

The move means that LSU currently does not have a president, athletic director, or head football coach.

He hired a Hall of fame coach in womens basketball that brough a national championship, their 1st ever. He hired a 2x baseball winning national champion. He's a BR guy. Yeah the contract for BK was ridiculous, but at the time LSU was facing compliance issues and he had the best "resume" we ever hired. Kinda hard to imagine you'll be upgrading this position
