We had good relief last season but never had that “cram it down their throat” guy. Seems now we have two.

So true! We give up runs, but win, the pitching needs to improve. We score 3 and win, the batting needs to improve. We are not going to shut out and run rule every opponent. I wish the idiots would learn this.

No, you need a dawg out of the bullpen that can give you 3-5 innings if needed, and right now, Guidry seems to fit that role.

I really think (and hope) kids are seeing guys like Crews, Skenes, Langford, etc get to the pros much faster by going the college route instead of dwelling in the minors for 6 years.

Right, Evans allowed three runs in the 3rd. He walked 2 and they had 3 infield hits. One base hit went to the outfield. I would be concerned if we were getting hit all over the ball park.

Thank you! Eyanson barely went 4-5 innings his first few starts. Anderson took time to go longer outings. Give these guys time!

Jay raved about him last year. Said many times how excited he was to get him to LSU, but he just isn't getting it done. He's been playing a bunch lately with Stanny out, and has not done anything to capitalize on it.

Holy cow! Some of y'all act like these kids are supposed to pitch perfect games every outing. I don't like the 2 walks but he just came back 3 up 3 down.

That is one thing that was missing from the relief staff most of last season. That dude that comes in full of pissed off attitude. Guidry has it.
