I’ve been thinking how exciting it will be but also how hot it will be.
Never heard of this poster but assumed he was just being sarcastic as all we know of with the current Lane crew is absolute dominance in recruiting. Saban Bama level.

I think we should continue to build with the draft this year and other than a guard, take it easy on FA. Get under the cap and make a run in year 3 and 4 under Shough rookie deal.
This is incredible if the dude is at all able to hold his own as a walk on. He gets cred from the team and doesn’t hurt the culture while adding to the swag brand of LSU sports.

This is all positive, if he’s close to legit walk on level ability.
Most of my life I would have said Bama, but somehow the juice is gone there.

I guess Ole Miss, but the message it would send if we beat Clemson by 50 to open the season….They hype would be wild for 2 weeks.
I could somewhat care less who our OC is as long as we have Lane.
comparing the ceilings and floors of LSU football and Ole Miss football is an absolute insult and not even a good faith conversation worth having. Just dumb.

If Pickett or Woodland goes down, we have a weak secondary.

I assume they feel incredibly confident about Jackson, Anding, and even Turner as otherwise there were a number of guys with experience.

At least you’re going to 2nd and 3rd year, highly thought of players, if something like that happens. In years past we are starting unproven guys or at least 1 unproven guy.

A nasty DL is a young corners best friend if we have to get to that point though.
Semifinals or bust.

Floor over next 2 years has risen to top 12-14 cusp team.

Ceiling definitely is of a DOMINANT title team.

Lane signs 30-35 players out of the portal every year. This is what he’s used to.

People acting like this is going to be sooo hard for him to handle have not been paying attention. It’s the same shite he’s been doing, it’s just that they are more talented.

natty, bookmark tbis!
Blocton will be a junior.

This defense is deep and experienced, only one projected starter not in 3rd or 4th year. Tons of talent as backups and rotational.
Has Lane not gotten any prospect this cycle that we went hard for?

I can’t recall.

He’s amazing at closing the deal and people truly want to play for him. We are the “it” school with Lane as coach.

I think I heard it somewhere, but an “aha” for me to realize it…. Lane’s the most “famous” college football coach.
Yep, huge as we have not been able to “get home” with 4 with any consistency for a while now.

Princewill definitely changes that.

You gotta think on the other side, one of many very talented players will also be able to get home. We have ton of guys going into their 3rd year of college and from a physicality and experience standpoint should be ready to take off.

Relliford (3rd year high 4 star), Ross (3rd year former 5 star), Jaylen Brown (3rd year former high 4 star), Shanklin (2nd year former high 4 star), and Lamar Brown (1st year former 5 star).

I could add a few more names even, but gotta think one of the above will be a stud next season.
They may try to get some coordinated chants that are insulting to him, but that’s max of what I expect. It’s Ole Miss. They’ll be scared of us by halftime.

It actually is, it’s just one you have to pay to attend for some reason.

Shaw isn’t public either by the way bro, it’s a little old school Catholic league humor that went over your head.

I’d rather get off the bus with Princewill over Seaton if I had to make a choice. That said $600k just to get him out of contract, damn.
