Four-Star TE Mac Markway Commits To LSU

LSU football coach Brian Kelly landed a big-time commitment from four-star tight end Mac Markway on Thursday afternoon.

Markway chose the Tigers over Iowa, Ohio State, Miami, and many other offers.

The 6-4, 250-pound prospect from St. Louis, Mo. (DeSmet HS) is rated the No. 7 tight end in the country for the class of 2023 and the No. 3 overall player from Missouri, according to 247 Sports.

Markway's commitment comes just two weeks after visiting LSU.

Arik Gilbert was a monster and was on pace to break every SEC freshman TE record. Still sucks he couldn't keep his head on straight. Thad Moss had one of the the best TE seasons in LSU history.
