I feel like recruiting is the most important part of being an LSU HC. Miles, Orgeron, Saban were all great recruiters. So who would be the top recruiter out of the candidates mentioned on this site?

It needs to be a guy 40-50 years old, that has shown an ability to use the portal and recruit. That also can develop players and has a mastery at one side of the ball. Who comes from a good coaching tree and has a history of good coaching hires

That was what Nick Saban was in 1999, minus the portal.

Regardless, it doesn’t have to be paid in full right now. It’s through 2031. Which would make it like 8mill a year if he didn’t leave money on the table
