You've clearly never been with a spinner before.

There are probably 6 or 7 that realistically could win it, and another few more could if they catch lightning.

This. I wouldn't touch cws betting this year with a ten foot pole.

It'll be a fight just to make it there if we find Tenn or UF in the super. Our bats are just too streaky to depend on them getting us through the supers and cws without them falling off more than once.

Not really, when you consider the production value and its probably the equivalent of shooting 2-3 feature films

20 years ago we were getting 20-25 episodes of Lost every single year at a budget of $3-4M per episode.

There is absolutely no excusing the release rate of TV shows in today's day and age.

Wow! I do we have anything to compare with that?

The lightshow itself, sure. The Sphere in Vegas is quite a bit more technologically impressive, but it won't be unique for much longer as they are building identical spheres in other countries in the future.

As far as just the sky scraper architecture, not really. One World Trade Center is special in a handful of ways, but by and large the US is not capable of building structures on the scale of the Burj. Our regulatory bureaucracy and labor force generally don't allow us to really be able to consider things like that.

Is there anything in the lore that explains how Galen Erso knows Saw?

I found this, but it was unsourced so I don't know if it's fanfic or from an official source. Sounds like they just met when Galen was trying to extract himself from Stardust and escape from Coruscant. Saw apparently was the one he paid to smuggle him and his family out. I guess they became somewhat friends while on the way out and transitioning into hiding.

quote:

During the Clone Wars, Galen Erso worked on a project with his old friend, Orson Krennic to study the kyber crystals used in a Jedi’s lightsaber. He believed that his research was for energy development. Instead, Galen soon found that it was to power the Death Star.

Galen, his wife Lyra, and their daughter Jyn soon went on the run, as Galen wanted no part in the Death Star project. He managed to secure passage off of Coruscant from none other than Saw Gerrera, who brought them to a planet called Lah’mu. He believed they would be safe there, as it was remote and desolate yet with a bit of tranquility. Young Jyn formed an immediate attachment to him and looked at him as a friend. She even wanted him to stay with them on Lah’mu, but Saw couldn’t remain behind. He told the family, though, that he would visit whenever he could and would always be there to help them.

How many H1Bs are they repatriating?

Thats our problem that we created, not them. That's on us to fix.
Honestly my biggest personal disappointment with the show is we didn't get more Krennic. He played that role as imposing as any villain in cinema.

I would do anything for a season or two of a new show, call it Krennic. Have it follow him as the lead over the course of Project Stardust just being an imposing badass and shite.

We need more villian stories.

Tell us how you would balance the budget THIS YEAR. Otherwise you are "increasing the deficit".

That's incorrect. You can dramatically decrease the DEFICIT without a balanced budget. It will still increase the debt though.

I don't think there's any serious conservative out there who believes we can achieve a balanced budget this year, much less a surplus that would decrease the debt.

What I cannot personally accept is a budget that increases the DEFICIT further. I need to see the deficit decrease from last year to have any satisfaction that Trump or the Republican party is fiscally doing what I voted for them to do.
I've said it a hundred time on here. It's well past times that we simply wash our hands on this matter. Neither side is interested in making any concession for legitimate peace and there's very, very little reason for America to have involvement at this point. I'm not interested in buying their peace with American taxpayer blood nor money.

Yeah, they were already in the process of destroying evidence before she even got there.

I'm honestly a little surprised that the entire back area where their rebel operations we wasn't just rigged to explode a long time ago. I understand they needed it as a plot device to be able to track down the apartment, but logically before Luthen (tried to) kill himself he would have clicked a hardwired button somewhere in the shop hidden under one of the pedestals and blown all the evidence to atoms. Wouldn't have to have been an earth shattering explosion that would have killed bystanders, just enough to clear that backroom.

overconfidence of either never expecting to really get caught or maybe thought their archaic communication methods wouldn't be figured out by the ISB.

Add a clause that they will abandon BRICS ambitions and committ to the USD as the default reserve currency and petrodollar and I'd sign that deal tomorrow.
Tonight - Courtney is on the thick side but man she has tits for days and has that "I'll frick you silly" energy and vibe.

I didn't realize 319 was in Chicago. I may have to attend that one.
It's a long article so I just asked Grok to summarize it for me.

Joking, I actually read it. I largely agree with it. There's not much schooling in school if the need to critically think is just removed. At the same time though, LLMs aren't going anywhere. People need to learn how to use them appropriately and ethically.

It didn't state how the teacher was phrasing his assignments to LLM-proof them. I'm most curious about that.
